I gotta go with the Green Lantern. The Ion iteration. He could waste Superman by re-creating kryptonite radiation, and the Flash? a stick. Just trip the bastard and he goes into a wall at mach 5.

Done and Done!

There was actually a storyline where the only superhero in the entire world was The Flash. He stopped all crime all over the world as soon as it happened. Because he basically spent all of his time patrolling each nook and cranny of the Earth. In under a second per 'lap'.

Also, the Flash can do this...infinite mass punch thing. Basically, he hits you with it and you die. Like, 'explode into atoms' die.

I forgot his name... he was a bit of an obscure Hero.. Or villain I can't remember but I do remember he destroyed things just by talking, and he said a few words and almost destroyed earth. I WISH I COULD REMEMBER HIS NAME.. I think he was a mutant
You are thinking of black bolt in the comics he's defeated the hulk several times just by speaking a few words.

Not sure if she's been mentioned yet, but the superhero with the most "power" (if defined as the maximum potential) would have to be rogue, the ability to steal any other power makes her all of the above combined.

For just heroes I would personally say Hulk... mainly because he's just awesome, his strongest form could only be stopped because he wanted to be before his raw power alone would destroy the earth!

If memory serves only mutant powers and despite there being... had been some VERY powerful mutants in the Marvel world there are far more powerful non mutant heroes... granted she can still cause them great harm (I think the hulk and other power houses though have been able to ignore her/overload her though)

Edit: She is still classified an omega class mutant I think and in some cases could recall some of her stolen powers at will so she's still kick ass

Most powerful probably Dr Manhattan or Sentry/Void (his powers become very similar to Manhattan's toward the end). That said Dr Strange or The Doctor (from the authority, not the timelord) with their multi-dimensional powers they're are pretty insane (not to mention Scarlet Witch's character derailment and reality warping).

Edit: Some people are missing the point of the word super-hero in the titile. God-abstracts from comics don't count as super-heroes, unless they decided to be super-heroes I guess like some of the eternals did in Marvel.

Yes! That'd be hilarious. And awesome.

OT: I don't really know since superheroes regularly gain new powers as the plot demands.

Vegeta powderized a mountain with a wrist-flick while in black hair mode. Now that's what we'd call eyelid hair manliness.

No he doesn't. The one above all can exist outside the physical universe, thats the only thing Dr. Manhattan has influence over. He can literally kill the big blue tosser by thinking about it in another dimension.

Aquaman. It's all when you think about it more though and you realize all the power he really does have from d how tough he really has to be to survive living in the ocean and he can control anything from the ocean, if you believe in evolution...ALMOST EVERYTHING CAME FROM THE OCEAN! Basically Aquaman could be everyone's overlord if he wanted to do it. {And if everyone could stop thinking of him as a joke hero}.

Squirrel Girl's dang powerful too though...
DAMNIT, I wanted to say Aquaman.

For real, somewhat situational, though - I mean, The Flash(es) have proved to be pretty useful at times, like when they trap Superboy Prime in the Speed Force (or attempt to, at least - which one is the faster of 'em, by the way? Wally? Barry? I know it's not Jay)

Other guys like Superman of course have a pretty constant mass of power, but have moral values that're somewhat impractical in their line of work.

So, I'll also have to hand it down to Bats, as to me, he really remains the brain behind the Justice League - the guy has kicked Superman's ass, wounded Darkseid, fought his way through time, is smart and inventive, and as he has no superpowers, I'd definitely name him the most super one.

SPOILERS

Especially now that there're two of him, and as has been stated by the newer one:

Superman.. you just can't ever bring the guy down. Even in his weakest of moments, he counters it somehow and becomes very OP. However, Superman is the most powerful/incredible superhero, I would say that Batman was the Best superhero of all time. Just a human with gadgets, and yet he's done more good then I could recall anyone else doing (I could be wrong, but you got to be impressed with Batman).
When it comes to regular guys with gadgets. I'd wager Iron Man and War Machine would both have the edge over Batman. Think about it, full body suit of near impenetrable armor, can fly at jet engine speeds, both have homing missiles in their armor, Iron Man has lasers in his hands and War Machine has a fucking shoulder mounted minigun. I'm probably forgetting some stuff too. Nothing Batman has in his arsenal could get past their armor, They can both kill him at long and close range, and even if he tries to get away in the Batmobile they could both just intercept it and blow it up.

You were saying?

Yes, batman has his own mech.
