Squirrelgirl's defeat of Dr Doom was retconned to be a Doombot impersonating Doom, actually. Writers couldn't treat Dr Doom with any respect otherwise. But no one actually cares, aside from hard-core comicbook nerds.
Lame superheroes, eh? Rice Ball Guy [http://www.stutler.cc/comics/index.html] seemed stupid, at least back in the day when I thought it was a serious comic (it was 1996 and I was young and idiotic!). Now he's a webcomic version of the The Tick more than anything.
I'll rail against the Superfriends incarnation of Aquaman, if only because he became a running joke. In more recent comics the character's fairly badass, though. Overall, he's just got a bad reputation from the the dregs of a Silver Age mentality towards comics and superheroes. I won't give him my hate.
I'' reserve it for this abortion of the superhero mythos.
The worst superhero ever is without a doubt, Bibleman. [http://www.bibleman.com/] Regardless of your religious inclination, you've got to admit: This. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Jsm2v8TJ-8&feature=related] Is. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pANsDlxl8n4&feature=related] Lame. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEKwrI5MYIM&feature=related]
Seriously, Jesus themes power-rangers? I'm an atheist and think this is insulting to Christianity, not to mention the intelligence of kids everywhere. Way to cop out of teaching kiddies actually Christian values and interpretations of the Scripture, dumbasses! Way to quote-mine scripture! Way to (quit literally) preach to the converted!
It's a sugar-coated glurgefest [http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/glurge] from start to finish. As much as he might offend religious folk, this guy [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAB9SV9Usc8] has a few good things to say about bibleman's "superheroics". Lame costumes, lame acting, lame FX, lame writing. Booo!
Plus, the game [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEGjCKNyTK8&feature=related] is bloody awful [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXsHPLl-zFY&feature=related]. Escapist game critics, prepare to set sail for fail!
Thus concludeth my rantings.
