Favourite hero?
They were all killed off last year in crossovers
Favourite Villain?
Magneto always, he's on the side of good for now, but I love a villain I can sympathize with and understand their motivations.

The problem with Deadpool is that many comics fans feel that he's over-exposed (much like Wolverine) and that Marvel is just churning out so many series for the sweet cash-money. At one point there was like Deadpool, Deadpool Merc with the Mouth, Deadpool Corps, Deadpool Teamup and possibly some more.

Also some people, myself included feel that the earlier Kelly Deadpool and Cable and Deadpool by Fabian Niceza is far superior, as it not only had the hillarious fourth wall breaking comedy, but serious drive with character devoplement and interesting story arcs, rather than one ridiculous thing after each other.

Deadpool is lame because he's basically become the product of this type of reasoning: 'what do nerds like?'
"ninjas? robots? Firefly?"
"Okay he has ninja powers, part robot and is snarky"
And I hate being 'pandered' to. That's really what reading his comics feel like. A lot of people that don't read any comics at all (or next to nothing) instantly say he's their favorite.

He's also a hold over from the 'Dark Age' which many comic readers would be glad to get rid of.
Eh? Since when is Deadpool part robot? I've read the first eighteen issues of his first comic book and the entire Cable & Deadpool and never seen this mentioned ever.
I was being facetious. My bad. It's often times difficult to come across as such on the internets.
Okay, fair enough, but I still don't get why you dislike Deadpool. Do you mean that he feels like they just took whatever nerds like and put it together hoping it'd work? And it'd be great if you could explain this "pandered" thing (preferably without giving away too much of the story).

Also, what Deadpool comics have you read? What I mean is: What writer? (Sorry for double-posting, but I wanted to make sure you got this question)

Gambit.

Considering his incredible back story and lore. (Seriously. Check it out) He deserve to be a much larger character; in all forms of media. Hell. The guy was so powerful. He had to have his powers reduced, just to handle them.

Instead he gets a 'bit part' in wolverines movie..... and they make him look pathetic.

It's kind of like Hipsters and obscure music. Some comic fan get upset when someone likes Deadpool, "because they knew about him first" and "the old stuff is way better". That or some get annoyed by the bulk of Deadpool comics, while their own favourite stuff gets canceled or put on hiatus. When someone posts Deadpool it hits a nerve with these people.

I personally don't care, I was just explaining, but yeah if people like a comic they should read it. I can't criticise anyone, my favourite character is Cable.
