I'd have to say Jack Frost, from the Persona Series. What's to say about him, other than the fact that he makes a damn fine plush toy?

I don't think they're exactly mascot material... but I'd say Benjamin and Anthony Carmine from the Gears of War series.

They're like gamers that actually have the chance to be in the game, and perform about as well as I imagine the average gamer would in such a situation.

Oh yeah, I agree, although mainly with Benjamin since Anthony died before I even noticed his existence.

Benjamin fought well and hard...and then died. Not unlike all gamers (albeit without respawns lol), and he was the only one me and my co-op buddies could relate to (unless we grew giant muscles like everyone else, that'd be a different story).

The Carmines are far and away my favorite characters from the Gears series. My friends and I noticed that each one survives longer than the last, so we figure the last Carmine brother will be some badass super-soldier who'll actually live to the end of the game.

I can only hope so.
Hopefully, he'll last all game (and into the sequel that you know is going to come about after GOW3, just because people will buy it no matter what), and hopefully, he'll still be able to keep his geeky charm, as in Anthony and Benjamin.

I'm hoping that the third and fourth will be called Charles and David (or something similar) so we have A, B, C and D Carmine.

I loved HK-47 as well.

I would say that one of my favorites is Tiny the Tiger mascot [http://bestmascots.com/catalog/cats-tigers-c-48_55.html]. Well, he's not a mascot, but he is a favorite character of mine on Crash Bandicoot games. He makes a great key character. So, he's not the official mascot of the game, but he still is a representative of it. I also really like Earthworm Jim. I played it once at my mom's cousins house when I was like 7, and I absolutely loved it.

Jack Frost from the Shin Megami Tensei games, He always a odd ball who tends to brighten things up, especially in the Digital Devil Saga series where he was a rapping demon in DDS1 had his own quiz show in DDS2. He also damn hugable.
