Who is your favorite Star Trek character?

And by Star Trek, I mean from the original series to enterprise, books, and movies. Or even if you liked Star Trek's remake's Spock better than the original Spock.

Personally I love Q. He is such a douche.

In a close second play, it would be Quark from DS9.

I've always felt that Data is the most perfectly devised character ever made. It may not seem all that great now, but at that time the notion of an andriod trying to understand humans was something new to television (not new in any way to other mediums however, let's not give them too much creadit). To top it off, he's really well acted and scripted, and I always love episodes that feature him heavily.
There are a hell of a lot of awesome characters in Star Trek, and it's hard to nominate a second place, but honourable mention to Spock as he's pure awesome.

Garak, Quark, and the doctor are my top 3, but I'd say that the entire cast of DS9 was pretty damn good.

Best captain was definitely Picard, though, and he's the best part of TNG (though both Riker and Data have their high points).
