The late Mitch Hedgeberg and Maria Bamford are my favorite comedians; there are plenty of other comedians I enjoy, but those two are pretty unique in with their delivery.

Also love Eddie Izzard. I have a hard time finding British comedians--mostly because I don't know who to look for. I'd like to sample some more of them some time.
