Zack Snyder, anyone? I know I'm dreaming but I'd love to see this guy take over the X-men
Why? So we can have another awkward sex scene with some bad gore effects and some cheesy one-liners?

No sir.
I'm pretty sure that's not Watchmen you're referring to, so is it 300 or Dawn of the Dead? I don't recall AKWARD sex scenes or BAD gore effects in either film. Maybe you'd prefer the horrible de-aging makeup and one-liners such as "In Chess, the pawns go first," from Brett Ratner's stab at the franchise.
1.Well, each movies had some sort of sex related thing. Most of them are on slow motion, because Mr. Snyder doesn't want a NC-17 rating.

-Watchmen had a really horrible sex scene.(the awkward part is the music).

-300 had a sex scene that served no purpose other than "I'm leaving to war...Let's have some goodbye sex". It had no relation to the plot what so ever.

Dawn of the Dead may had some small nude part. Altough, there was a random nude woman....I wonder what does that served...

2. Bad gore effect? When you can tell it's made with a computer, it's bad gore effect.

3. One-liners are cheesy yet sometimes fun to listen too. Yet others are just plain bad..

Again, examples (1-liners)? The sex in 300 was the first nude scene I'd seen in quite some time (how often do people actually have sex with a bra on?), and I thought it was tastefully done. Snyder (sharing the same intent as the source material, no doubt) had no desire to leave the female lead relegated to the role of "dutiful wife." Hers was an important character also, and this scene showed the two most important roles in the film together. How is this purposeless? If you were marching to your death tomorrow, would you not make love to your wife tonight?

So, for real now, who would you have to direct the next X-men film?

Stanley Kubrick

Dr. Strangelove, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket... Need I say more?
You need to say 2001: A Space Odyssey, Barry Lyndon, Eyes Wide Shut... There's no one quite like Kubrick.

*swoons*
Though this will sound hanous, I've never seen 2001, or any of the other ones you mentioned but Kubrick are at least the director that has made the most movies that I adore.

Peter Jackson and in some odd way Mel Brooks for "The Producers" (the first one) and "Young Frankenstein"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Cameron That guy

By the way, I could get the idea she was important with the fact she convinced everyone to go to war. I can also prove by copy-pasting a part of the plot

"In Sparta, Gorgo, Queen of Sparta reluctantly submits sexually to the influential Theron in exchange for help in persuading the Spartan council to send reinforcements to Leonidas. Following her address to the Council, Theron publicly betrays the Queen, prompting the councilmen to cry out in outrage and Gorgo to kill him out of rage, spilling open a bag of Persian coins from his robe. The exposure of Theron's treachery, along with their Queen's plea, prompts the Council to unite against Persia."

Sex scene still serves no purpose in my opinion.

Note*If you're wondering why there's few movies that show sex scenes, watch this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_film_is_not_yet_rated

Cameron showed some interest in directing X-men about a decade before Bryan Singer finally did. Sadly, I think his interest may have died years ago. If he's still "got it" (see Aliens, T1 and T2, The Abyss), then I'd have to say I agree.

Yeah, I saw that doc and loved it, esp. the animated portions with the phone calls to the MPAA people. It's sad that they don't get that their Ashcroft-like tendencies to cover up all the women does more to foster a culture of objectification then if they walked around topless all day like it was Brazil.

As for 300, I just thought it was refreshing to see a sex scene that involved 2 good actors and didn't feature 6 seconds of hyperbolically hyped flesh like it was the second coming of Jesus, as is the case with most Hollywood sex scenes now.

You've got to watch them! Eyes Wide Shut is like some oppressive, shadow-drenched narcissistic nightmare; 2001 is the closest an atheist can come to a spiritual revelation; and Barry Lyndon is simply the most beautiful film ever made, bar none.

Mine would have to be Tim Burton. I just love the way he can take a completely random, messed up plot that could scar people and turn it into something so fun and querky (see Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas).
I also have to mention Quentin Tarantino for writing and directing my favourite movie of all time, Inglourious Basterds
actually, just fixing something up, Tim Burton actually did not Direct Nightmare before Christmas, he wrote the story and was a producer, but because everyone calls it TIM BURTON's nightmare before christmas, the REAL director who is Henry Selick hated Tim burton for being so overshadowed, which led to the making of Coraline.

ahem:

I enjoy many Directors, some of their movies I may not like in content, but the shots and stuff that they do is amazing, Tarantino is my favorite director currently.

Terry Gilliam-Strange and terrific stories often with a dark sense of humor and beautiful visuals.

Stanley Kubrick-Besides 2001 his movies are solid gold, I've never seen Strangelove though. I especially love The Shining, because it is unlike any horror movie I've ever seen.

I've noticed that he uses a lot of white in his movies and clashing, sometimes ugly, colors. It's a strange attraction/repulsion feeling I get from his movies.

Zach Snyder-300 was pretty good, not as cheesy as I thought it'd be, and Watchmen is an incredible movie that I still hold as my all-time favorite. He knows how to do action and visual style in a compelling way and Watchmen showed that he can do an adaptation of a great story as well.
