You're ignoring the fact that America, even without its military, is a member of NATO and is guaranteed some form of protection against invading forces. We would just become one of the countries in the world that are protected with paper more than force.

I don't really see any one country having the reason to do it. Islamic fundamentalists would really lack any resources and any support here, and they're our main issue. North Korea can't do a blasted thing ever and China has no reason to want to start a war right now.

I vote for France. Clearly, they're interested in getting the land they lost a couple hundred years ago back.

We have to keep our eye on French Canada.

Taliban/Al Queda - are pissed off at the Americans for a lot of things. During the Soviet-Afghanistan War the Americans gave weapons to the Mujahadeen. After the War they didn't help to rebuild the country, resulting in few schools and angry young men with loads of guns lying around. they blamed the Americans for what happened to their country and so took up arms(thats just one example).

Iran - Maybe/Maybe not hard to say.

Russia/China - again Hard to tell what they or any country would do (theirs always the possibility)

The world just doesn't like Americans. They're too: powerful, rich, ignorant, arogant & Warmongering. They think they own the world and treat everyone as inferiors. They're jerks.(Not all of them but enough)

Nobody would. Just because we would lack an army doesn't mean we can't fight back. We know our country. We don't have a sweeping ban on guns. (I am a Democrat, but I still like firearms)

That one kind of reminds me to something the NRA head said somewhere. He was convinced Europe wouldn't have been overrun by the Nazis if they'd have had a second amendment. You must realise that just because a lot of people have a gun in the US, not everyone would be willing to use it and put their life on the line in case of an invasion. Let alone the chances of a militia beating a decently run army are pretty slim.

Brazil is to busy dealing with the drugs and crime in it's shithole cities, much like all south american countries.
Nobody cares about Canada. ( and they do have troops in afghanistan. or is it iraq? I can't remember.)
And in recent history, whenever France get involved in a war, they have a dong stuck in them.So they probably decided to stay out of it.
