Kratos. I know, I know that's what Heavenly Sword was. But think about it because chances are she'd be topless.

I heard they almost made a topless female Kratos character skin as an unlockable in one of the later games. It had a long mohawk hair style. Maybe that was just concept art.

I'm sure they had their reasons for not putting it in the game, but I thought it was a good concept because it had the same savage warrior feel to it as the default look.

It's almost never done well, and is usually lazy and offensive.

Right now, I can't think of ONE time I've seen it well-done. Adventure Time's Fionna and Cake is not good, but does get a free pass for being a joke about fanfiction (and in universe, because it was written by the Ice King)

I agree with this poster. Gender swapping is essentially a device for the horrible fanfiction fantasies people have. There is no purpose other than "haha what if x was a girl, that'd be so LOL XDDDD".

Ok I'm sure someone recommended this already but: Desmond Miles. It can be done logically using the animus.

I think it would be interesting to explore the idea of a man having to relive the life of one of his female ancestors. It doesn't need to be a focal point but he could point out at one stage how it's different seeing the world through the body of a woman but with your own mind. I imagine it would be terrifying.

Based on the 1st post, I'm going on this being an established franchise merely swapping the characters genre. Then for me it would come down to whether this was a rather androgynous character, like Fang, or whether it was specifically written for one gender. The former is fine, but if you have a female doing stuff like throwing money at hookers or complaining about the lack of bubblegum partake of whilst vanquishing aliens, it wouldn't work too well.

I'd like to see a female super-soldier in Crysis, but that's mostly because I want to see how they'd model the suit, whether it'd stay a mass of black twined muscle or if they'd manage to expose her midriff or something. Hearing Psycho's enigmatic macho cheerful Huah military lines gets old pretty fast.

Do it on CoD, just to really annoy the fanboys who think they're macho for playing it.
Or do it on a GTA game as those are quite misogynistic when it comes to women, all they're for is for dating or talking about their 'titties' It would be cool to play as them and have this reversed or something.
