And what's wrong with picking Morgan Freeman? Have you heard him narrate in The Shawshank Redemption? Uncreative or not, his voice overs are so smooth you cinder blocks over them (as well as take the edge off of suggested rape scenes).

Well, if I had to go with a back up then it'd be Rowan Atkinson reprising his role as Blackadder, perhaps with Lord Flasheart taking the helm for my fight-or-flight response.

Okay, actually, can it be someone who's been dead for about 60 years? If so, Rod Serling. That man's narrating voice can make anything awesome instantly.
