Who's considering getting a Vita?

I've really thought about it and no, I won't be getting one, not at launch anyway.

There's no game on the lineup that makes me want it.

That will change the moment a Monster Hunter game is slated for European release.

Definitely not.
I have a 3DS already, and I don't have time for another console on top of what I already have. Plus, the 3DS library looks way better than the Vita's.

Probably not right away. I do enjoy my PSP but the game lineup for the Vita isn't impressing me and any PS1 classics I want I can play on my PSP.

I wasn't going to buy a Vita. Until they announced a remake of my favorite game... it really all depends on they "Mary" does to the story of Persona 4. I'll wait for reviews of that game before I consider buying a Vita.

I know I am, but I don't think I will be getting it at launch.

It all depends on what happens in a few days for me, but the Vita is a definite buy for me.

I think I might get one so I can play it's version of street fighter x tekken and the latest uncharted adventure.

I'm keeping my eye on it, I liked what I played and the interface was rather good. Just cant afford a full price one right now, so it'll be a waiting game.

I'll wait until they sort out the inevitable hardware issues and maybe get some decent games other than ports.

I want one but after being burned by the 3DS at launch I won't be buying one when it launches. I'll wait for Persona 4 and FFX HD to come out.

Hardware looks impressive but it took me years to actually get some games for the PSP and DS that I enjoyed playing as tbh I dont like small screens (even big small screens) so I am waiting for the 3DS and Vita to bomb then I can pick them up cheap with a few nice games.

Until then I still have a couple of old games on GBA,PSP and DS to finish if I am away from my home setup again for a few months.

Thinking about it jus to get some of the persona games and the fighter they're putting out. But Id have to look and see if its really truly worth it.

Mine's already pre-ordered. I'm one of those people who loves getting things on release day, knowing full well that it's probably the least cost-effective way of buying things - especially with handhelds and their inevitable redesigns.

As much as my 3DS was clearly a poor investment (I've probably played about 20 hours tops, and I have a 3 hour round trip daily commute), I had enough fun with Ghost Recon to justify it in my head at least.

I've been doing the Nintendo handhelds since the Gameboy Color. So I'm likely going to pass. Also that money could go towards my PC upgrade project that still isn't moving forward.

Subtle.

On topic, I'm probably not gonna get it. Sure, it looks better than the stuff Nintendo has been spewing out lately, but I just never really got into handheld gaming. I never had a GameBoy, a GameGear, a DS or a PSP. I've played on them, now and again, I've got family and friends enough that have them. It's fun, but I rather invest in PC and home console related stuff. Besides, I don't need portable gaming devices busting up my social life worse than it already is.

Also, what's with the touch screen? They've got two analog sticks now, that's great, but why do you need a touch screen as well? Not to mention that touch pad thing on the back of the device. Seriously Sony, leave stupid, superfluous gimmicks to Nintendo's DS line of consoles, will ya?

When it gets games I care about, perhaps.
And even then, I doubt I'll bother since I don't trust Sony.

Which is a pity, because as a handheld, it could be a very fine piece of hardware (needs a slightly longer battery life, IMO. 4 hours is the bottom end of what I'd hope for from a modern handheld, though I suppose it can't be helped at that processing level.)

I dunno, if it drops in price and gets some cool games I might hop on board but for now I'm happy with my 3DS. It has a web browser, netflix and a 3D screen. (I wasn't even going to get a 3DS but GameStop had a sweet deal going for a while).
