Am I excited? No, it's too far away for me to be getting pumped up... and it's valve so I expect a delay. But the closer it comes to release I imagine the greater my anticipation will be. Won't beat my anticipation for half life 2 though... that was off the charts.

It may not be totally bad, but it will not carry over the simplistic short funny arcadish nature of the first Portal.

They shouldn't even call it Portal 2. It should be named Half-Life 2 episode 2.5: the Portal version. Subtitle: Spend 5 hours listening to some NPC gibberish while jumping around the room. Just like Half-Life 2!

Yes I believe it's going to suck. I'll apologize when I'll play it and find it good. Well actually I won't, because Valve still owes me for fucking up the Half-Life IP.

Yeah, I'm excited. It's one of my favorite games ever, after all. A funny thing: My brother doesn't really like Portal (says it's boring, the evil little thing), but even he's excited to see Portal 2.

But, how many have seen any game play of Portal 2? Any opinions about that? I saw a bit of it a few days ago, and it seemed like fun. I got over my fan girl reaction awhile ago though and I'll try to stay as realistic as possible. I don't want to be disappointed, ya know? So I'll keep my expectations low.
