Personally, I like Roy from Super Smash Bros. Melee. Sure, people say that he's 'low tier', but screw it, HE KICKS ASS!

I have a couple styles from SoulCalibur IV:
Taki
Zalasalmel
Mitsurugi, especially Mitsurugi
and i really liked playing as Vader.

All the people who go crazy about SSBB should play powerstone, it was far, far, superior.
So in no particular order Id go for:
Strider in MVC2
Falcon in Powerstone 2, (although we always play random select)
Takuma Sakazaki in KOF, although KOF has a ton of awesome charecters.
Finally, who doesn't like scorpion from #mortal Kombat?

Tishi ci, from the first dynasty warriors game. That guy had unnecessary reach coupled with a X you could spamm until your finger broke that stunned your opponent so they couldnt move.
Either that or this old guy named Fo from this REALLY old PS1 demo i used to use. He had claws for hands......basically just nostalgia. Anyone know the game im talking about?

Mine is Spiderman in Marvel VS Capcom 1 & 2.
After him I'm actually good with Ryu (not spamming anything), but my best character is Ken (who I never use).

SSB - Kirby! i can eats people
Soul Calibur IV - for style i would have to say Voldo (i can kill people with my ass, MY ASS!) but for actual gameplay Taki or Raphael. A well esecuted Taki combo i've found is devestating and Raphael is just plain fun and powerful.
Street Fighter - Major Bison (or whoever the soviet like military dude is) i really have lost track of all the name changes...
