Stephen Fry. I adore that man to no end. Reasons? Personality, charm, outspoken atheist, maddingly intelligent etc. He's Stephen Fry?! I love that man.

James Owen Sullivan, otherwise known as The Rev.
A man so full of life that he literally lived every day like it was his last and sadly died incredibly young.

Brilliant drummer with an outstanding take on life, after he died I pretty much resolved to actually live my life, have fun and treat it like you could die any day, because really, who the hell knows?

Death had to take him in his sleep, for if he was awake there'd have been a fight.-Thomas R. Marshall, Vice-president of the U.S., upon hearing the death of Teddy Roosevelt

Stephen Hawking, no explanation required... I respect smart guys who tell me what is really what...

And Mads Mikkelsen/Viggo Mortensen... They showed me that being from a tiny shitty country doesn't mean that u have to live like the country u came from...

I've never met a person who had said impact on me, not yet anyway.
But I have been feeling quite inspired as I read some Nietzsche books lately, he was a wise man, he had the most outrageous moustache ever, but he was a wise man.

Leslie Nielson. I saw "Airplane" and the "Naked Gun" films at a young age, and I adored him at the first moment I saw him. Now, because of him, I've learnt that the most ridiculous thing can be hilareous if you keep a straight face and stay serious, which has shaped the kind of person I am today. Sorry if that sounded like a big "RIP Leslie Nielson" speech, but I just love him so much.

Also... _>...Michael Jackson. Yeah, yeah, Ive heard it all before. And, yeah, sorry again for mentioning MJ so much. But with him, I learnt to keep your head up during the darkest of times, and that no matter what, you will have people who care and love you. Yes, I know it's cliche, but it's still great lesson thats helped a lot.

Whew... that was a big and emotional post... why do I keep doing that?

I don't really have a hero (or heroes). I don't even look up to anyone really. I mainly try to go along on my own. Which of course explains my many flaws. But their MY flaws goddamn it!

Patrick Evans, my high school Latin and AP English teacher. guy was brilliant, eccentric, and wildly effective. he could BS for 90% of the class, and still teach more in the 10% he actually taught than other teachers could in 2 or 3 full hours. plus we got bonus knowledge from the BSing portion of the class.

i'd also have to pick my step-dad. not many young, single guys could marry a woman with 3 kids and keep his sanity, and provide for the family. he did. and he's about 100000x the man my biological father is.

my best friend, Jason. he's a little bit "Rain Man", but he's a wonderful, loving, kind, hilarious person. seriously, if i was a girl, i would totally do him. in fact, i'd almost turn gay for him :p

for celebrities, i'd probably pick Blixa Bargeld from Einstuerzende Neubauten. the guy is a genius. i know that EN isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it just moves me.

for fictional characters, i'd go with Gregory House, because for an asshole he's just so damn charming and effective.

Shirley Manson because she's amazing and her voice sends shivers though out my whole... self.
Christopher Eccelstone, because his face intrigues me
and finally Constantine, because he's such a dick it makes me jealous.
