Who's your secret weird celebrity crush...?

Well, for my more obvious one, I'd have to go with Victoria Coren, she's attractive, smart, witty, and confident, and she directed a porn movie just to find out what it was like, and she also hosts one of the toughest quiz shows on British TV.
Sure there's probably more technically perfect looking women out there, but she's got ... something, and maybe it's being close to 40, but the idea that you'd be comfortably able to talk about things after is a very attractive prospect too
another choice would be Ruth Jones (far right) from Gavin n Stacey (tho I don't like the show).
Again, I like the look of her, and then having seen her on other stuff, she seems genuinely good company too. Having said that I have a huge weakness for comic actresses and female comedians anyway.
I'm guessing it's not just me that finds an attractive woman with some imperfections far more alluring than any airbrushed model type?
Shame so many have picked women who'll probably be on 'top 100 sexiest women' lists this year however.

I think the OP should have made a rule, if she's a leading lady in romantic comedies, or a model, or lead singer in a band, she's almost guaranteed to be excluded for not being a 'weird' choice of celeb crush. There's nothing weird about liking someone who regularly features high up 'hottest celebrities' lists.
I'll add another, Olivia Colman, from Peep Show and many other great UK comedy shows. She's usually playing downtrodden, overworked women, but she's quite capable of glamming up well given the chance. She plays very 'normal' people to, maybe that's part of it for me, feeling 'accessible', I don't tend to shoot for supermodels and the like anyways.
Just as an aside, this really does show the male / female divide I think.
I'd say if asked, most of the guys would go for most of the women named here, whereas the women choosing guys tend to pick a far more diverse range of men, it's almost as tho they're not basing it all on looks!
Just out of curiousity I'd love to see a version of this with only gay and lesbian responses, to see if gays mainly pick beautiful or handsome men and the lesbians are more likely to pick more 'interesting' women.

You'd have to develop an impartial idea of what constitutes "attractive" and "interesting". Tom Cruise is generally considered to be pretty attractive, despite having a large, crooked nose. A lot of people consider Cillian Murphy to be "interesting looking" because of his cheekbones, but he's still considered conventionally attractive. Ditto for James Marsters. i've scoured the forum just to see if anyone else agrees with me making my crush less weird but to no such luck.
