I wasn't planning on it, since when I first heard about it I was pretty miffed about being limited to one gender, but my gamer friends are always mentioning it and it'd be nice to have a game to play with them that's not Black Ops. One has been counting the days for months, so the enthusiasm is difficult not to catch. So... maybe?

Im starting out security, probably heavy body type with the a heavy MG. So if anybody wants to survive a bit longer, ill be providing meat-shield duties on PC.

Mobility is good for healers I guess, but so is being not dead at the end if a fight.

I don't know yet, the major selling point to me is the character customization. But if the gameplay hold up I may just check it out.

I've got it pre-loaded on Steam (for the eventual mods, and my Steam groups), and have had it pre-ordered for 360 (to play with my friends) for about a year and a half.

Why are you buying more than one copy?

Already pre-ordered with a group of friends. At the moment I'm leaning towards a medium build, probably engineer. Personally, I'm not to fussed with online gameplay, but you level the same player online and offline, so I'll probably wind up in the online arena eventually.

I'm definately getting it sometime next week. I'll probably play medium and medic. I wanna have access to assault rifles and be able to do parkour. Medic because when I'm running around reviving teammates I feel like I'm really contributing to the battle. I'm also starting as security. I just had a thought. How could someone be a heavy operative. You'd be really easy to see and your MG would make far too much noise to be stealthy.

i see, another multi-player FPS well least it sounds more interesting then the usual FPS non-sense

I only meant you had to actually see it as opposed to being told. Saying it's like TF2 but with more guns doesn't do it justice.

ironically TF2 was what came to mind when i was reading the wiki page, and the video i was shown did give that vibe to, 'TF2 dark' actually sprang to mind.

but i'm hardly one to draw such comparisons, just cause 'it looks like' and has 'features like' another game dose not a clone make, sides worse things then being a TF2 clone

I might be, It looks pretty interesting and it sure as hell piqued my interest when they said it's being released early.

But I don't quite trust Bethesda or the reviewers anymore after Fallout 3.

Anyone know if there's gonna be a demo for it?

I'm considering it,but it will be a while after it comes out.I am thinking light class engineer with auto-turrets and specializing in pistols and shotguns as a security guy.

Hell Yes. I've been waiting for this game for about a year now as well. Already pre-ordered for 360, probably playing mid-weight engineer, lightweight operative, or maybe a mid-weight medic. I'm not a meat-shieldy type person but I may roll a heavyweight soldier after a few weeks. Can't wait. Two days.

Well, ive been waiting for it a year now, and it's finally wall running it's way toward my letterbox, so now seemed to be a good time to find out how much interest there is around these parts.

What body type/class do you see yourselves playing?

EDIT: Apparently I own an xbox 369.....

Strongly considering picking up the PC version. I'll probably wait a bit to hear how well it turned out (mostly to make sure there will actually be people playing it for more than a week), but it looks fun.
