yiazmat from ff12, 50 million health, who came up with him?! the next highest boss had 8 million health, and all his attacks have a chance of insta-killing

I've had a few over the years I've found to be impossible
But I remember most vividly playing pokemon in both heartgold and gold and taking several and I do mean several DAYS to beat Whitney the normal type pokemon trainer.

Who knew a milltank could be that hard to defeat
Bloody rollout.

So who was yours?
Oh this took several tries. I thought it would be simple. In Pokemon terminology 'Normal' often means 'Pushover'. Oh how unprepared was I? I can usually beat a gym even after polishing off the less important trainers who doss around. Not this time. Rollout and that Miltanks incredible ability to soak up damage beat me easily.
I think one of the worst things was that the rollout kept getting stronger every time miltank used it
Also that stupid attact move if you had male pokemon 90 times out of a 100 your pokemon wouldn't be able to land a hit because it was immobilized with love!!!

Hmmmmmm...

First time I beat Cynthia
Beating Lance in Pokemon Stadium 2
Fighting Sephiroth in KH2 (the legit way, not teh uber hax way)
and/or
Fighting dark Samus the final time in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on the hardest difficulty

Cynthia: Her Garchomp wrecked my shit
Lance: FUCK YOU AND YOUR 100% HIT CHANCE BLIZZARDS. FUCK YOU TO HELL
Sephiroth: Button mashing, quick reflexes, and mad kiting, all at once ._.
Dark Samus: Next to impossible to avoid getting hit by all her/his/it's shit, and dancing around from pillar to pillar while going in and out of morph ball was insane fun, but really hard. Took me 5 tries to finally get her/him/it down, and that was largely due to luck with abilities and luck with missiles.

a few come to mind:Gattsuo from Tales of Vesperia,he's fast as hell with two fast as hell minons, hit's like a truck, and usually targets my healer. He's a random spike in difficulty after the easy enemies you have been fighting.

The Train Demon in Ninja Gaiden 2,I have no idea how you're supposed to dodge his little soul things with out ninpo and I usually suck when the bow gets involved.

Beelzebub in Nocturne(haven't fought Lucifer yet so this may change),I manged to beat him by luck where it was just me plus red and white rider with our only option was whacking him, I really should have died.

The End in MGS3. kinda.

It was the summer holidays and beofre I had internet, and I was gettin' my Metal Gear on before the family vacation. I had spent days endlessly battling this guy to no avail, at which point I done a good ol' fashioned RAGEQUIT and went on my merry way to Sea, Sand and Sunburn.

I come back two weeks later, ready to take on the wrinkly bampot, only to find he died of old age. Cue mass lolwutting on mypart. So technically I still haven't beat him.

Also, I'm throwing in the Driver level of Vice City in there, which also made me rage as after finally beating the bastard after weeks of failure, come hesit time, he dies almost immediately. Plus I never understood that if I proved I was the better driver, why I would need that guy in the first place.

meh. I need to chill for a while.

Well i killed him by hitting him in the crotch just above the knee and below the 3 spikes, which is incredible fricking difficult. It was only later i saw someone else on youtube hit him when he lands and it dawned on me... how stupid am i lol..

Hardest boss ever: Metroid Prime and its ghost, from the game of the same name. I just could not get the timing of that fight right. And of course it doesn't help that it has about a bazillion life bars and takes half a pixel of damage from successful attacks.

Easiest boss ever: Fontaine, BioShock. I didn't even use one health kit.
