Personally, I have absolutely no problem with Michael Cera at all - I've watched Scott Pilgrim at least three times now, and have found no issue with him. Like Keanu Reeves - put in the right role, he's perfect.

I can't imagine anyone else playing a better Scott Pilgrim.

He's not even close to the "uncanny valley" he's still a fake teen just like every other actor or actress who tries to play the "geek" or awkward kid.

Yes. Other actors are fake enough that it's just something to rub off, but Cera is just close enough to make me sit there and feel slightly disturbed by it.

After "Superbad" and a supporting role in "Juno," many mistakenly believed the "Arrested Development" cast member was the next quirky, unexpected star who could relate to the millennial generation. Well, not so much. His follow ups either were puzzling, but quality misfires ("Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist," "Youth in Revolt") or outright bombs ("Year One"). That string of negative results basically stung Cera's likability with audiences. Unfortunately, he'd already been selected as the lead and shot "Pilgrim" before the biggest turd, "Year One," even hit theaters. I think that sums it up quite nicely. Personally, I think that Cera has a lot of talent and just had the misfortune of being type cast early in his career.

And yeah, "Year One" sucks ass. I mean, I hate Jack Black. (YES, I SAID IT) He's loud, obnoxious and generally unfunny in EVERYTHING he does. But that aside, the movie plot was terrible and the acting was even worse. And the most tragic part of the whole mess was that Cera was unfortunate enough to be cast as a leading actor in it. If he hadn't made such a terrible choice with Year One (and Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist) I think that Pilgrim would have done so much better because people wouldn't have gone, "Michael Cera? Uggggggggggggh."
(I did love Pilgrim though. Quirky, funny and nerdy.)

Ninja, at least the ones properly doing their job, rarely used swords, as they were hard to conceal. From what I understand, sais, kunai, and kama (or other weapons that could easily be disguised as peasant tools) were the weapons of choice for most ninja.

You're kidding me right? I already answered this forum, but I saw this and my left eye twitched five or six times.

Ninja's did not wear black, they did not use swords, and they were not godlike-stealthy-badasses. They were around for a VERY short time, and the only reason they are named 'mortal enemies of the samurai (who were also very much bullshit)' is not because they had epic battles on roof tops and shit, but because their principles and styles of warfare were literally the opposite of the other.

I've had it with the samurai and ninja faggotry. No pirates or zombies either.
