Why are all the good exclusives coming out for the PS3?

Uncharted and God of War have always been Playstation titles anyway. Some things you just don't mess with, and besides the PS3 hasn't had a terribly good line up of games. Ever.

Some franchises are a staple to certain systems. Come on, the Xbox has a good line of games that are almost exclusive to the console (I'm not including the PC as a console, as I already know some titles have been made available for it as well. Hence the 'almost'), which is what makes people want it in the first place. That's part of competition. Let the PS3 have a few good titles, and the Xbox will retaliate with some of their own.

anyway, let Ps3 have its turn - its only like, two hyped up exclusives that no ones properly played yet...so its hype, not quality. MS is currently working on improving Xbox live and taking full advantage of its graphics engine, so just be pateint until they release some exclusives that take advantage of these new xbox features...

the Xbox had its time, now its sonys payback time. i would hope that the PS3 would fall in price. then i can get God of War 3, which will possibly be the greatest game ever.

Seriously, it feels like the Xbox 360 is getting left behind in the exclusives department. Whereas the PS3 is having a field day with titles like "God of War III", "inFamous" and "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves". The last big Xbox 360 exclusives were "Gears of War 2" and "Fable 2" and that was last year! I'm sure there have been some Xbox exclusives I may have overlooked, but that's probably because they weren't significant. Right now I kinda wish I'd bought a PS3 instead of my 360. Hopefully the new Halo: ODST will make up for the relatively small lineup us Xbox owners have been left with this year.

Gears 2 and Fable 2, that's all you can think of? What about Halo 3? What about Fallout3 (if this was released for PS3, just disregard that). PS3 has hardly any good games exclusively.

Xbox360, starting in June will have Battlefield 1943 coming out, Operation Flashpoint 2, Call of Duty 6, etc. etc.

Fallout 3 was released on the PS3 and the PC, so it isnt an exclusive.

Ummm as far as I know fallout3 is on PS3 and PC, PC has DLC and the ability to mod. BF1943 is coming to all formats again as with CoD6.

Excellent lineup of exclusives.. typical 360 person think that everthing is exclusive for them. I think 90% of people think that Fallout is a 360 exclusive.

and BF 1942...thats gonn be on the marketplace - it was like, the first or second BF game. Verreh fun though, but not really a full game by todays standards...unless they've modified it..?

i am a good game lover. i could care less what system it came on. plus i got all the current systems. so i can pick and chose from a buffet of games. if you are not happy with your system number coming out then buy another system. 2 systems' game libraries should be enough for most gamers. if you want a certain game go get it. most people should be able to save enough money for a system over a year's time .

One of your enemies could accideentally step on Cloverfield and not notice. The only thing this is on a smaller scale to is the Big Bang.

If you watch one of the game trailer episodes with Pachter in it he hints at the game having a tremendous scale in its level design. I wouldn't be surprised if it involved traveling inside titans .

PS3 is playing catch-up. They hardly had any exclusives last year nor the year before, so I'm sure they shelled out the big bucks for exclusives this year. Besides that, the PS3 isn't really tough to program for. It's basicly a PS2 with better graphics abilities. Whereas the Wii and DS are systems that really need different controll systems and ways to come up with something that looks cool and compelling yet without exceeding what the processors in those systems can handle.

Xbox 360 has lots and lots of system exclusives this year. They are in Xbox Live in the Community Games. Some are really good. As good if not better, in some cases, than some of the games coming out on discs this year. What's really awesome is that anyone with a cool idea can download the programs needed to make games compatible with the 360 and submit them to Microsoft. You don't even have to be part of a big studio to get a game on the Community Games part of the Live service. So you'll see ideas tried on Community Games that probably would have never got green-lit for a game to be published on discs. Go on Community Games and try 'Lit', 'Blow', 'Weapon of Choice' and some others and see if you aren't just as impressed by some of them as you have been by stuff you've seen on store shelves.

Interesting analogy, and I would worry about that too - but the series seems too fresh to be that disappointing that soon, don't you think?

Unless the analogy is spot on: a shorter, less interesting, less unique, albeit slightly prettier version of the original...

Halo 3 was released ages ago, and most hold it in the same esteem as, say, Tomb Raider in that it is shit and chips. Fallout 3 was released for the PS3, and all of those up-and-coming titles arent xbox exclusives either -.- I think...

anyways ps3 has great games
and so does the 360 ( only thing holding me back from gettin one is pay online as in my opinion i dont think it has anything special over its competitors )

just wait till e3 al be very suprised if microsoft wont announce some more exclusives maybe my dream will come true and they make online free
