because game companies are big evil cooperations that hate true gamers
Ah, true gamers, you refer to the kin of Nahtzee, I presume?

There is a divide between the gaming community- hardcore elitists and pseudocasual gamers.

For more, please refer to the YouTube comments section of the above video.

People in general are whinier than before. It's because now that we have the internet and all it's amazing social networking features, we think people care about what we think and feel about EVERY LITTLE FUCKING THING. But sadly, we don't. So fuck twitter and fuck myspace. Facebook is ok cause I use it to keep in touch with mah peeps back in the old land.

Would this entire thread be simply a gamer... whining about other games?
This is the hilarious hypocrisy you've been telling me about, isn't it?

Edit: seriously, i saw something like this just two weeks ago...
Whatever, go whine elsewhere, cry-baby.

I give you 10 irony points though, were it intentional or not.
Don't you see that this thread is inherently ironic? It's a thread COMPLAINING about COMPLAINING.
Seeing how unavoidable that is everytime someone points out excessive complaining, the irony is so stale that it hardly warrants a mention. It's not amusing when it's so consistent.
Then the original concept is so stale that it hardly warrants a mention. Which I do indeed find ironic. Complaining is so complained about that you are complaining about complaining about the irony of complaining about complaining, after complaining and noting the irony of complaining in a complaining thread yourself. Man, if you whine about THIS post too, who knows how complex we can make that sentence?

EDIT: Fine, fine. I see how you feel now, it does get irritating after a fairly small number of posts. Regardless, clearly the solution is to not get involved, rather than engaging in the neverending complaining recursion. Speaking of which, I should withdraw from it right now. Good day to you, apologies for any offense.
I'd like to complain that its ironic you complained about me pointing out the irony of complaining in a thread about complaining about complaining when it was a whole another case of complaining and then complain about me complaining about you complaining about the irony of complaining about complaining and then about the irony of complaining about complaining myself.

For the record, I haven't slept for two days. So if that paragraph after some research seems correct, I demand respect.
And I do not whine. Ever.

EDIT: Oh no you won't. This is a war now. =)
Oh sleep, you darty mistress. You elude me except when I don't want to see you.
While you do not whine, perhaps you (like me) grow harsher with others when you are tired.

Took about 5 read-throughs to make sense of it, but I think it actually is correct. Well done sirrah! Alas I no longer possess mental faculties sharp enough to further the conflict, so I shall declare you the victor.

You tell those complaining complainers, give them hell! I'm sure that you will be rewarded in the afterlife for defending corporations so loyally.

First of all - Ironic thread is ironic, unintentionally or not.
Oh shut up. An old joke is an old joke, and we already saw where this argument will land.

"It's ironic that you are complaining it's ironic to complaing about complaining."

And I will keep doing that until you give up and admit that it's not that ironic.
Yeah, the term has a bit wider meaning than that, though I don't know why you even picked me considering I'm actually parodying claims of irony in other posts...

I just thought you'd appreciate the video really... And yeah, there is a little more to it than that.
Wait, ah, sorry, of course. I didn't apparently quite read what I said myself in the previous post.

Two Days. Without Sleep.

Why are gamers whiny dancers?

We are the human race. This human race likes to complain about things. This is a 'thing'. If the human race stopped whinging about stuff, the world would more then likely implode. It's the way the world goes.

If people didn't complain about things they thought were crap, we'd all assume Michael Bay movies were the pinnacle of human film making achievement.

Now if everyone could just take one day on the calender and mark it. Say to yourself, "today I'm going to just shut up about what other people think." Man, the world would be a much nicer place to live.

It's human nature....
My answer in a nutshell, it is entirely within human nature to have everything they could ask for yet still complain about the little things and demand more. Or try and compare who has the best thing and becoming aggressive about it or defensive about it, turning a playful pastime into a vicious civil war.
Humans are preculiar creatures.

It's why I'm all the happier not be one.
Judging by your fame on The Escapist and your reputation as well as your Slick avatar, I'm gonna say that you are some Bipedal Alien Race with a history of War ?

Yeah, pretty much.
