im going over seas soon, and i shall pack... EAR BUDS!!! imagine the damage i can cause with them, I'll sneak up to the pilots and clean their ears when they arent looking. they wont know what hit them!

Maybe if you hit hard enough or if you sharpen it? I honestly don't know, but my two thumbs are weapons, just aim for the eyes.

I agree, it makes very little sense especially considering that they let me bring this (http://www.slacklineexpress.com/catalog/images/Primo%20Sling.jpg) and about twenty pounds of blunt and heavy climbing equipment with me on my carry-on baggage. I'm pretty sure I could do a lot more damage with those than a measly nail clipper.

Well I thought it would be rather obvious to most people, you can quite easily stab someone with it.

Question is would a pound of pressure break the skin? My nail file wouldn't, it blunt, but another nail file might. I don't think there is any standardisation of nail file sharpness.
