Personally I have no problem with the Kardashians and their ilk. They stumbled into a tawdry form of fame and ran with it, big deal.
I think what is far worse are those who abuse their intelligence to make themselves wealthy at the expense of others. Like the heads of the banks who lined their own pockets at the expense of national economies, the billionaires who buy politicians so that their oil interests keep making them even more money, despite having more than they could ever spend in a lifetime of debauchery. Stupid people aren't the problem, it's the sociopathic intelligent who feel nothing for destroying companies, keeping half the world in abject poverty and playing their silly games with politics when there are more important things to be done. They have the power to make the world a better place, and instead go out of their way to make it worse because it gets them more money.
