Why are there suddenly so many My Little Pony Avatars?

People just like the show. Why is that so hard to understand?

The fact that it was posted at all, ever, is enough that face should meet palm "Chariots of Fire" style.

I think he means, you should've used evidence from the show itself. Not the people behind it. But, he didn't have to be so rude saying it.

My impression was that he just thinks the idea of any cartoon having genuine quality is ridiculous. It is regrettably not an unusual viewpoint. *shakes head sadly*

As a fan of animation, my mind instantly labels those people as idiots. They have to prove to me that they're decent people before I sit down and explain things to them in detail.

The show was created by Lauren Faust (Creator of Powerpuff Girls and co-creator of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends). It doesn't get any more amazing than that.

One of the bigger reasons is because the show has fantastic characters and you will eventually get a favourite if you watched it, like DaveDude and I both have Fluttershy Avatars, my reason is because she reminds me of myself, an animal loving and timid character

Well, speaking as a 24-year-old male animator, I like it because of all the reasons everyone's already mentioned, but there's one reason more important than any other as to why this is an awesome show:

That comes from a joke in itself, they do it because pissed people act like ponies pissed in their cereal. And the fact the show parodies other shows itself.

And really? Serious? This show is anti-thesis of serious, it makes good contrast to the amount of "serious" that are world seems to love so much in entertainment, something tells me you just don't have a sense of humor.

One thing I can't wait for however is when we STOP talking about the damn fan-base and actually get into the meat about the show, but like that is gonna happen,.

Yes, but after waiting through the whole summer break and then that gap after S2E2 I've learned to handle it pretty well.
