I can save a drowning persons life in under 2 minutes (I'm a lifeguard), I understand a lot of languages and I learn very easily. I'm a passable swordsman (foil & epee), a bit of a prick, and half way through post-grad on the way to a PhD. My girlfriend is stunning and a marvelous cook.

Seriously though. I don't get the pride part of the sins. I dont see why pride should be a sin. Unwarranted pride sure. But feeling proud of yourself gives you confidence. And its confidence that makes you better at everything you do. Maybe someone who knows the bible can give a more specific reason why pride is a sin?
