Everbody dreams and they do it multiple times every night. However we never remember them. It is said the bettter memory you have the more likely it is to remember your dreams so doing som brain excersises helps. I haven't remembered any dreams in years but I have had them as my pointed out to me as I woke her up from screaming in my sleep.

It depends on sleep/exhaustion ratio. 12 hours will guarantee me dreams, if I just sat the whole day on the comp. Works for me. Was in a similar situation during the uni. But now... sleep all I want and dream almost each day.

Does anybody else have this issue or a good way to solve it.
Did you change your sleep pattern? If you sleep less then you will typicly try to recover the heavy sleeping you fail to do regularly and this will result in blackness. So my advice would be to sleep more.

Would going to a therapist help?
Depends on how much sleeping you would be allowed to do there.

Unless you are channeling a spirit.

Phoenix Wright!

OT: Try thinking about different things before going to sleep, that might help.

Uh no I don't think so. I don't see why you need to dream but you're not going crazy right? You'll be fine.

Because of a bug in the matrix...
Also, god hates you you wicked spawn of evil, so says the gamer-hating church from an article earlier this week. Maybe he removed your dreams to punish you for trying to substitute real dreams with fictional stories like video-games. Or maybe cause you kileld a hooker to get your money back in GTA...

Go watch Inception?

I envy you- I keep getting really weird, messed up dreams and quite frankly I miss the days when I'd hit the hay, black out, then wake up properly rested.

Be happy about that. Dreams are creepy and disappointing. Last dream I had was that my whole family was chased by...something, I don't remember. All I know was that it wanted my blood. Also, I was injected with something...

Everyone dreams. Sorry lads and lasses, you will dream. You can even dream will still being somewhat awake.
But once you're asleep, your mind will dream. Whether you remember the dream or not completely different.

Wake yourself up an hour earlier than usual and then go straight back to sleep. Doing that usually gives you really vivid dreams.

I dont dream either, or just dnt remember my dreams. The last one i remeber was 4 years ago. There was a pirate ship, but i wasnt allowed to go on because my showes were too square.
Ive also had dreams around that time where i just casually do nothing at home. I actually gt reality mixed up woth that.

Im also having a hard time distinguishing reality from things i made up. Ill talk to my friends about things, and theyll tell me it didnt happpen, and ill say "oh right, I imagined that"

Also no wet dreams WTF.
It's best you don't have them. Do you really want to wake up with sperm all over your privates?

Yeah it's normal to have wet dreams, but only if you don't regularily masturbate. I've never had one, and it's not something to be missed (in the sense you don't reach orgasm as masturbation does).

As for dreams, I don't remember them. But I replaced it with daydreaming, I can just space out for ages.

I'm sure it was interesting. Actually I think there was a lot more to it than that; but everything else escapes my mind.

This, more or less.

AcApparently you actually dream almost constantly but only remember very little of what goes on, you mostly remember during REM sleep (which lead to the false conclusion that REM sleep is dream sleep).
I remember hearing that it's only physically possible to remember the last fifteen minutes of the last dream you had(which occurs once for each REM cycle)at most.
