"how about we test if plants can smell!"

reaction: stunned silence

I just grunted for an entire conversation. I was feeling pretty "meh" that day and this was when I was way more awkward than I currently am.
Are you by any chance Adam Baldwin?
I am unfortunately not.

So we were discussing how weird it was that only Azns are so freakishly good at DDR. Then my friend, who's totally white, said "Oh, but my brother's really good at DDR!"

I immediately say without thinking, "Is he Asian?"

God, none of them have let me forget that one.

There's quite a bit of speculation that plants may be able to feel pain. I don't know a whole lot about the subject, but I think there have been several tests done that come close to proving the idea.

Also, if this is my third post in a row, then I am sorry. And too lazy to check and edit.

"No, the easiest way to kill someone is to just take a sharp object and shove it up through their head a couple inches back from the chin, there's no bone in your way to the brain."

Just delivered that like it was something everyone should know to a group of people I'd never met before but would be spending the next three weeks of summer gym with. (I'm not even sure it's totally true, but that would ruin your day for sure.

Good times.

Bah, just give the plants a cookie and an apology. All should be well after that.
