Why can't I enjoy this game?

Resistance 1- played it for a while but just wasn't having fun and didn't get anything out of it
Animal Crossing- friends were into and convinced me to buy it, played it once
Bioshock- might have been because a friend spoiled the whole game for me because i RROD'd
lost planet- im thinking about attempting to try it again
Devil May Cry 4- I loved the 1st and 3rd ones and played the 2nd because of fanboyism, i just haven't been able to get into this one
Ninja Gaiden 2- Same as above

Any and all games by Bioware. I'm a big RPG guy, but they just bore the everloving crap out of me at every level. They're not viscerally challenging, they're not strategically engaging, they're not intellectually stimulating, and I feel like all the "choice" I get amounts to absolute BALLS in the mountains of content. It's the RPG equivalent of generic fantasy novels, all of them derived from Dungeons and Dragons translated as strictly and directly as possible to computerized form--and strictly interpreted D&D rules with no room for creativity or problem-solving outside the game's simplistic set of actions is the most boring thing in the freaking universe. The worst thing is that every one of them has SOMETHING I want to like.
Fallout 3. On paper it looks like it could have been one of the greatest games ever created, but I can rarely play it for more than 10 minutes at a time without getting bored.
... I'll probably get lynched for this, but Half Life 2. It's not a bad game by any means, I'm just put off from playing the game for some reason.
There's also any Pokemon RPG past the first generation. Gameplay never really changes and the combat is still as dull as it was in 98.

i got two of em, lost odyssey and last remnant, they are just so hard for me to get into, i tried again for the third time to like it and shut it off after 10 mins, i just like to you know... do things when i play, all i did was select how my guys attack once then everything else is taken care of, i'll try to beat them eventually... i hope...
Resident evil 5 and COD MW2. I played the first 2 levels on both and i was able to stop and walk away. Most the time when i get a new game i can play it for a hour or two be4 going to do something else. But i didn't with these two.
Why in the heck did I repurchase Sta-Waws- The Force still Leashed?
Seriously, I couldn't finish the first level for the life of me... it just... wasn't... fun... and the guy was just twitchy whenever he moved or attacked...
