But if you truely have fellings for this girl, I say you should at least give it a shot, I mean I doubt she's gonna wait forever to hear from you and if it doesn't work out then at least you tried.

I've got a problem that some of you may have heard me bitching about before. This is about that girl who gave me her phone number last friday.

The problem is that I can't grow the balls big enough to just call her.

I've been staring at the goddamn number for about 4 days now, just thinking about whether to call her or not.

The point of this thread is 2 things;

1. I need motivation. Bad. Someone knock some sense into me.

2. Has anyone else had a problem like this and how did you get over it?

I've been in the same position, the best thing to do is just dial that number and press the call. Once you've got the courage to do that, the rest is easy.

If you managed to speak to her long enough to get her number, you know you can talk to her pretty well. She's still the same person, so there's nothing to fear

On a similar note, I actually managed to ask the above mentioned person out to coffee. It's soon. We shall see.

Some advice:

You're putting way too much pressure on yourself and attaching way too much significance to this crush. You're so young, dude, and you should definitely work towards appreciating the luxury of time that you have. Once you realize how insignificant your social life is now, you'll actually start having a much better one and be more outgoing with the ladies. Because the #1 ingredient in "cool" is not giving a **** about ****, and this will make you more attractive to everybody.

Do what you want; make mistakes; and realize that at this stage, social failure vs. success doesn't matter at all. I promise, you'll automatically start being more successful. Good luck, man.
