Cartoon Network has been dead since the powerpuff girls went off, and Dexter's Lab, and all those other shows.

Cartoon Network is digging it's own grave. All the cool shows like Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Laboratory are gone.

Oh yeah, the upside is CN created the greatest cartoon ever, Billy and Mandy.

Also CN ROCKED! Dexter's lab was amazing! Johnny Bravo was funny as hell! And lets not forget the pure gold of Samurai Jack, and Courage the Cowardly Dog. What happened to these shows? When did cartoons stop having any sort of intelligent humor? yeah some of these shows had stupid bits, but at other times had episodes that where really clever and not just low brow toilet humor!

Yeah, I mean both Ed and Johnny Bravo we can agree were not the sharpest tools in the shed, but they still had their moments of occasional intelligence, if not brilliance.

Also, how has Courage managed to survive this long? It is still being shown.

I miss the days where droopy and shaggy hung out in a convritable talking about how shows on CN. And when they actually did play amusing things on there that you could sit without your eyes bleeding from lack of fun. Adult Swim even fails with that awful awful Tim and Eric show, you'd have to have a tumor in your head to enjoy that show. Possilby the last good show to come off A.S. was Harvey Birdman or metalocalypse.

Cartoon network recently has been expanding the definition of the term "Cartoon" to include crappy live action like a bad Alaska Experiment rip off, and cgi so they could sell off to Lucas to make a badly written Starwars show that shouldn't even exist.

Yeah, these guys used to be great. I remember running home from school and sitting down and watching Toonami for two or three hours. Rurouni Kenshin, Outlaw Star, all sorts of great stuff. Ah, well, focus on the good, old days instead of the crappy new days.

I used to love it as a child with Dexter's Lab and the Powerpuff Girls... But let's face it, it's a bt past the majority of our age ranges now so the shows aren't going to be as appealing.

Ahh, memories...
I lament for my lost youth on that channel.
It mutated from Cartoon Cartoons, to the Cartoon Network, grew Toonami and fostered Boomerang, and Boomeraction.
Jack, Aku (Mako forever!), Coop, Jamie, Kiva, Courage, Eustace, Muriel, Johnny B., The Red Guy, Grim, Mandy.
The good days.
But times change, the children today like the shiny, new shows that are churned from the depths of (if anywhere else) TV Hades.
We'll just have to live with it, and the vast amount of DVDs of the shows that are, were, truly great.
