I also want to add tot his anti-CN thread that I hate the shows 16, Total Drama Island, and Total Drama Action. The people who make these shows are wankers of the lowest order. They are crap. Why CN is wasting money on this mindless crap? I will never know.

The only two shows that I ever watch now are Batman the Bold and the Brave, and Johnny Test. Batman because it reminds me of the old campy batman shows I used to watch, and Johnny Test is just well sort of entertaining to tell the truth.

I miss Dexter and Johnny (Bravo that is).

Cartoon Network isn't digging it's own grave. All the cool shows like Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Laboratory are gone.

Oh yeah, the upside is CN created the greatest cartoon ever, SAMURAI JACK.
isn't? you just contodicted yourself. and Samuri Jack is gone too. I miss it too don't worry.
Yeah i remember watching Samurai alot, then it just disappeared off my TV and people acted like it was still there, I dont even know what happened to it.

Actually Cartoon network seems to be in an upswing lately.
The old stuff was still probably better, allthough that could be the nostalgia talking, but The misadventures of Flapjack, The Mr. Men Show, and Chowder are all good. Adult swim at least has anime to compensate for "3 hours of things we found funny when we were high at 3 AM"
Well I think Chowder is the only good of those 3, Flapjack is just...disturbing at times.

I use to watch the Cartoon network a lot when I was younger...now however I may throw it on late at night/early morning when they play some of the old classics.

I can't seem to get Cartoon Network or Disney Channel on my TVs anymore. This may be a blessing.

What did you watch as a child? No CN means no Cow and Chicken, no Dexter's Lab, no Johnny Bravo, no Courage, no Samurai Jack.

Cartoon Network is lacking in the 'cartoons' department. Toonami + Adult Swim were the pinnacle of CN (circa 2000-2002).

Why have a separate channel (Boomarang) for nostalgic shows when you could put them back where they belong in CN and benefit?

I saw Slam Ball on CN the other day... At first I thought "wtf are sports doing on cartoon network!?" then I realized that I didn't really care all that much because Slam Ball was on TV and I hadn't seen it in years... but seriously, where the hell did Looney Tunes go!? I grew up with that, and my parents did too, but now it is gone? WTF!?

I've long ago condemned CN to the pits of hell. But I will admit, I have a soft spot for the new clone wars series. It at least kicks the movie's ass. And yes, Flapjack is demonic.

Cartoon Network used to be awesome. I don't completely remember, but I think it might've started going down hill after they removed... ahh, I don't even remember the anime... The one with the samurai who use his sword backwords... they removed it after they cussed onced during primtetime, me thinks. I loved that show, but never got to see the end. There's a reason kids like to watch a ton of anime now...

American cartoons suck now; it's like they all have to teach some kind of retarded lesson that should come as common sense. I've lost complete faith in almost all of TV as a whole, though. Only good channels are Comedy Central, G4(kinda), and a few bits of other shows. AS on cartoon Network, The Soup on E!...

Society sucks now. Pop culture is the worst kind as of yet. I really hope the next generation will learn a thing or two about competence or something...
You just summed up the reason I almost never watch actual TV anymore...I barely even turn it on except for movies, sports, and video games...Everything else I get from newspapers and the computer... As some others have said...When they got rid of TOM on Toonami...I stopped watching...Ahh...The weekdays of coming home from school...Doing homework till 4...And then turning on DBZ...Easy come, easy go...

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but Nick aired a FANTASTIC show: Avatar.
Avatar was actually surprisingly awesome. But as far as I know there won't be an "Air" season 4.

Cartoon Network really has jumped on the ADD bandwagon, hasn't it. I mean Chowder? Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends? I believe Robot Chicken summed up these sorts of shows quite well when they simply showed a sponge and a star fish with legs spinning around in circles until they fall over, then going off screen to suck up some more helium just to do it again...

It all ended when Toonami went off the air. It was Toonami that first introduced me to anime with Tenchi Muyo, one of my most favorite animes ever. Dexter's Lab, Courage, Johnny Bravo, all great shows too. I truly do miss the old CN and detest and loath the new CN.
