If you want my opinion. You all ask for too much. And you all need to learn to deal with a company's decision, they're there to make money, not to change your diaper when you shit your pants. Don't like what they're pushing tough shit. All I've seen since E3 is everyone bitching about how everything sucks. The lot of you can't be pleased and it drives me up a fucking tree...

That's my two cents on the subject.
your right we do ask for too much like games that are made for people over 7 because if that happened they would be changing our diapers your right.
You're already proving my point with your terrible sarcasm...

Had no interest in the XBOX section as it was pretty much just Halo and Kinect; the former I got sick of after 2, the latter I just sold as even after trying it in 5 houses/apartments it still doesn't have enough room. At least Sony had the foresight to ditch motion control when it was clear it wouldn't work out.

(Flame detterent: Everything in this post is soley my own opinion, and does not reflect the views, except by coincidence, of anyone but myself. Ye have been warned.)

Listen, why all the hate for the KINECT?!? Kinect is a revolutionary system that will CHANGE GAMING FOREVER. Kinect is motion controls done right. Big gaming names are just too shy to put anything into it. Forza Motorsport 4 will have Kinect support, and I have to say that it's on my list of top 5 games I'm looking foward to this year. (The others being Halo:CE Anniversary, AC: Revelations, Starfox 64, and MW3) Kinect just needs some time to mature. Just like what happened with Wii's motion controls, gamers never gave the industry a chance to really develop something great for the tech. They just said "OMG OMG WTF IS THIS WHY YOU MAKE ME EX3ERCI5E, GAMING INDUSTRY?!? I JUST WANT TO SIT ON MY @$$ ALL DAY AND GET FAT LOL". PlayStation Move was the exact same thing as the Wiimote, except it had a gun-shaped controller for shooters that actually worked (and good shooters).

Let us not forget that the game that I'm predicting will be 2011 Game of the Year (Minecraft) will be coming to Kinect.

In terms of MS not having any new releases, but just re-releasing old things, let us not forget that the way to prosper in business is to find something that works, and stick with it. If you want to bash someone for not releasing any new titles, go bash Square Enix: 14, maybe 15 or more Final Fantasy, quite a few Dissidia (FF character exclusive SSB) games, spinnoffs like the Tactics series; quite simply put, the one time they TRIED something new (Neir, I believe it was), it fell flat on its face. Plus, fans of the Halo series were CLAMORING (at least in my community) for closure with the Cheif, and for a remake of previous games. Remaking Halo: Combat Evolved was I think the best decision for MS and the fledgling 343 Industries, seeing as it was the game that essentially showed every other console shooter since how it's done, and enthralled millions of gamers with an immersive and intreguing series. Rekindiling that interest in gamers is the perfect lead into the new trilogy. Which I'd be willing to bet money will feature the Forerunners as the antagonists.

Case in point, ANY group would be justified in just doing new games for old franchises, because that's how business works, folks. If all game companies ever did was make new titles, you'd A: Run out of names for games and characters, and B: Enfuriate gamers with either 100-hour campaigns that would be easier broken up into seperate games, or by not making sequels. Also, it's rare that a new series becomes a groundbreaking success. Companies would go bankrupt if all they ever did was create new games and plotlines. New blood is needed for gamers every now and again, but not that often.

Plus, I didn't see anyone complaining about Nintendo's StarFox 64 remake for 3DS. That's a remake of an old franchise, too.
So...you're saying Kinect will change gaming forever and that it is motion controls done right even though there is STILL almost a year on from it's release, absolutely no proof or support from first or third parties to show that it can do anything more than a light gun or a dance mat?

Then you rag on Final Fantasy because it's all the same (so you've never played more than one main FF title), then said Dissidia is Smash Bros (so you've never played Dissidia), then claimed that Nier was a Square Enix game (they published it, not developed it) and that it was the ONLY thing that was even remotely different you want a SE game where they do something new this gen well heres a few examples. Last Remnant, The World Ends With You, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as King, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers, Final Fantasy XIII.

As for Halo, everyone knew it would keep going, a trilogy and a remake isn't closure though. As for the remake, it's fine that it's getting one and it is a good idea to help get the new devs up to scratch. Why they didn't do it properly and do Halo 1 and 2 HD remix I have no idea (oh wait, I do, they wanna make more money).

The point of being annoyed for no new IPs is that NO new intellectual properties at supposedly the biggest gaming event of the year means that we have absolutely nothing new coming out, just more of the same and while more of the same is good, something completely new and fresh is better, it's just something we aren't getting.

Starfox...people aren't complaining because we haven't had a proper Starfox game since the N64.

1:First of all, you will eventually have Minecraft and Forza Motorsport for Kinect, as I stated earlier. That's certainly more than a light gun or a dance mat. And I'm pretty sure that means that at least for now, Kinect has the support of Mojang AB, a third party developer, and Turn 10, who I BELIEVE may be a first-party developer. In addition, Kinect has so much more potential to me MORE than just a console add-on. Yes, it has been a year, but sometimes things take time to catch on and evolve. Just look at how long it took for somewhat good games to appear for the Wii and PlayStation Move that actually required motion control. True, MS shouldn't put so much focus into Kinect that they drop everything else, but as long as developers are still aware of it, eventually someone will do something revolutionary with it.

2: First off, I've played a few of the FF titles (Namely IV, III, II, XII, and both Tactics spin-offs), and I have to say that although gameplay-wise, they were all different in some way (though not much), the basic core plot elements were the same. All of them involve kids, teens, or young adults as major plot characters, and the majority of them involve saving the world from one thing or another, meanwhile resolving each major protagonists personal problems, like some kind of bad, repetitive drama.

3: At the end of Halo 3, they left us floating in space in a cryo tube in the a** half of a ship, with little or no power left. You call that an ending? (Plus, Johnson hasn't come back to life yet like the last time he was supposed to have died in an odd-numbered Halo game. Just watch, folks, he'll be back in Halo 4. And I'll bet he's the third character seen again, too.)Regarding and H1/H2 HD remix........ no, just no. You don't mix the first great console shooter ever with a game with a confusing plotline, and very, very annoying A.I. (Played H2's PC version, got quite annoyed the third time I had to try to go through the Sentinal Wall, and a Combat Forme stabbed my THROUGH A WALL)

4: I'll give you this point, Innovation is always better, but maybe the new ideas just weren't ready for reveal at the time of the E3 conference. Maybe there'll be a new release later this year.

5: Proper CONSOLE Starfox game. If you have a DS you could've enjoyed Starfox Command. (Which it is very entertaining to frag my friends on in the multiplayer. :))
