No idea. I eat it. It's like an omelette pie, what's not to like?

Even if it isn't supposedly "manly" I'm sure all the real ale, steak & bacon I eat at the very least balances it out.

I don't know why ANYONE would hate quiche, I mean it's basically an omelette in a pie plate and as far as I know the only people who don't love omelettes are people with egg allergies.

*EDIT*

I think it's because it's a French dish, and French stereotypes dictate that the French are anything but manly and are incapable of producing anything as such.
Is it wierd that I read that in Jeremy Clarkson's voice?

It is because the eggs, cheese and ham are being surrounded by a flaky pastry.
and with some (semi)manly math we can find out.

French man+croissants= flaky and a little bit gay.

so with this info I have gathered together that
pastries are flaky and a bit flamboyant.
meaning NOT MANLY!
but my dad is probably one of the manliest men I know and he eats quiches so I never saw it as non manly. what I am saying is that I am confused.

It's something bizarre that I keep noticing in popular culture, the idea that a "real man" doesn't eat Quiche. Am I the only one who's never understood this? I mean, it's basically scrambled eggs with cheese, nobody ever sees a problem with that. Can somebody just explain to me when and how we decided it wasn't a "manly" food?
Its not unmanly, thought unmanly items are sometimes added. Used to be known as ice box pie because basically you clean your fridge by tossing your old food into it. So I am opposed to paying good money for it in a restaurant. Its tasty enough to make at home and darn cheap, Im not paying good money for something I can make.

#edit# ^ just google it, the link wont paste correctly.

i cant decide if you're trolling, so ill just link it for your convenience it's basically an early meme, before the 300's and 9000's.

it's all about being sensitive and calling things by pansy names, if you serve me an English breakfast that's fine, if you make similar ingredients into some pansy meal instead and call it an emasculated name for the sake of appearances or fashion it's radically different.

My quiche is made with steel shavings and cigarette butts, I don't think it gets any manlier than that.

Ignorance being that most quiche I find is 70% bacon.
The quiche I eat is 70% spinach D:

Still, it actually tastes pretty decent. I guess I'm not very manly.
Nope, just healthy. :p

Anyways, quiche is delicious. Screw my manliness.

Because macho dickheads heard about the book Real Men Don't Eat Quiche and never realized it was intended to be tongue-in-cheek because they didn't bother to read it.

I for one like quiche, particularly if it contains bacon and spinach.

I'm a 22 year old man and I love quiche. Sure, the name sounds really girly but its full of eggs, bacon, and spinach! Eggs= protein, bacon= man food, spinach= popeye man food.

I don't like the taste of it.

That's why, as a man, I don't like quiche.
