The same (except perhaps the cannibal part unless its a special case), and all aside being a vegetarian is actually pretty healthy. Still, if I had to choose to go wihtout either cars or meat I would choose the former because I can walk to work happy while I eat a burger.

Hmmm, I think it has a lot to do with people themselves. Guess I just think some people want attention or wanna look different and I kinda get annoyed when somebody, and again it doesn't have to be a vegetarian but in my experience it usually is, starts talking and acting like he/she is disgusted by the fact that I eat meat (or some other type of food)...just making me feel like I'm eating they wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole - somebody said it - like they're better than me.

Maybe I should eat more vegetables but I think you shouldn't drop meat completly of your menu, but that's my personal opinion and that has nothing to do with this:

I do hate people who raise their children to be vegans - then you see those children that have no energy, always look tired, have growing problems, have bags under their eyes etc. That's is just insane, don't force that on your children, let them eat equally all types of food, they need it to grow up properly and later they'll be much more adaptable to eat whatever they like.

I never really hated vegetarians, but I do hate the logic behind some of the ideas.
Mostly the people saying that "Eating meat is wrong and the cause of mistreating animals." or whatever it is those guys say.
If millions of cows are going to be butchered, a few people not eating it won't keep the rest of us from digging in. Their plight to save the cows is so futile it's laughable.
But I DO get pissed at vegetarians when they try to judge me when I'm eat meat. I've had it happen in restaurants and with my sister friends, and they always try and make me [and all other sane people] look like puppy burning nazis for enjoying a good steak.
Idk, that shit just works down a persons nerves.

I'm a cannibal, very pleased to eat you.

Terrible, I know.

Anyhoo to contribute I think there's a lot of hate for vegetarians because it's a life choice. What do people love to hate the most? Other peoples life choices that differ from theirs! Never understood that one. About a third of the people I know are vegetarians, the worst they get from me is 'shut it, celery sucker' from time to time when they're annoying me.

However I don't get the 'moral choice' vegetarians, I say this because one time at a friends house we were all eating pizza with chicken on it, including one of our moral-non-meat-eating friends, until he realised(we were all pretty stoned so it took a while to pick up on it) what it was. So we sorted out an alternative for him, but it was pointed out that he seemed to enjoy the chicken pizza before he realised. I guess what I'm saying is that for some vegetarians it's a way of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Otherwise veggies are my friends!

Actually, just the opposite. The fags are more likely to eat mainly meat.

ZING!

(Side-note, learn to spell before throwing double-edged hate around. I will hurt you otherwise. I may do that anyway if you throw more baseless hate around.)

In any case, a universal rule of thumb for me is to not really hate on anyone for their beliefs, except when they're overzealous about it, and try to shove it down my throat. PETA does this, and some vegetarians I know have done this. There are quite a few however that have not. These people are okay, though it is slightly annoying when you go to their house and find that the only meals they'll provide is salad. I don't like salad.

To those overzealous vegetarians who keep claiming that eating meat is murder and so on, shouldn't you be talking to your neighbor's housecats, or the foxes in the backyard, before jumping on my ass about meat-eating? I'm sure they'll appreciate your thoughts.

As for PETA, if you haven't seen the somewhat biased but extremely informative and bluff-calling episode of Penn & Tellers: Bullshit! about PETA, please do so now if you have the time. Here are the links:

What's there to say about this? Could any reasonable person actually believe that Penn and Teller had to hard of a time to "portray PETA in a negative manner"?

I doubt it.

Pamela Anderson would be f*ckable if it weren't for the fact that she was a PETA activist.

Just thought that these clips should be added to the thread, in case anyone would actually try to say something positive about the ultra-hypocrites known as PETA...

They are the scum of the earth. They are the reason the economy is failing and the world is soon to be destroyed. They should all be shoved into a rocket ship and shoved into the sun.

Why?

Why not? That is what I want to do to most people though...

If you kept the matter private, I wouldn't care. If you mention it in conversation, I assume your trying to pressure me into doing it, just because that's what experience taught me. I hate people who try to pressure me into doing things (following religion, donating money, getting a life, etc.) Unfair, yes, but I don't really care.

I don't like vegetarians that bother me about my eating habits and berate me for my lifestyle. If you deny a basic human instinct (for meat), then by definition you are less of a human than me so shut up.

I don't know, maybe its because vegetarians don't like the taste of the all mighty bacon?

Just kidding, I'm not a vegeitarian, far from it actually, but I have no problem if your are one or not because everyone can have their own personal viewpoint and opinion on an issue as long as they don't force that opinion on others. However if do have a problem with cannabalism, eating your own species is hands down, the most bats**t insane thing people could ever do.

because you get the idiotic ones who shove their eating habits down everyone elses throats and some of them are the "evangelical" types. personally anyone who can stand to not eat meat gets my kudos especially if you actually look and are healthy because it takes willpower.....

So if the last black guy you met beat you up, robbed you and then topped it off by urinating on you while laughing at you, are you gonna assume that all black guys passing you in the street in the future want to beat you up, rob you and then top it off by pissing your face and laugh at you?

You should, shouldn't you? Because... That's what experience has taught you!

Uh, feeding the ego is more important than eating vegetables for those kind of people.
