Did someone say "overpowered" and superman? Nevar =P
I don't like the character because I feel it isn't a well developed character/badly developed character.
you and all the other people who have said basically the same thing obviously don't read many of his comics
I've no issue with him being "super" thats the premise. I just don't like the unrealistic way the character is handled.
Even in "The Dark Knight Returns" it basically mocks superman for not being a real person, and more of a pet, or subservient to his ideal of "right" and "just".
My real main issue with the character is that superman just seems a little well... lacking in intelligence. It may be possible he has no imagination like Steven Kings gunslinger Roland.
Responsibility is a big plot hole in the character superman. He claims to be good and just, bit if he is taking that stance, then every life lost to violence, poverty and disaster is his fault, through inaction. Like I said though, maybe the guys isnt that bright.
