Why do we hate Justin Beiber?

I don't hate him. His music is god-awful and he's obnoxious, but I don't hate him. I don't hate anything.

Personally, I see him as another part of the long line of "celebrities" who've gotten famous for doing very little. He's a mediocre dancer, his music has no substance, he doesn't really sing, and the amount of attention he's gotten from the media is disgusting. I mean, do we really need to see a film about this kid and read his memoirs already? He hasn't even been in the public eye for a year, and- optimistically- he still has plenty of life left to live before his biography is written.
I hate him because the film, television, music, and printing industries are all trying to cram him down our throats as much as possible before he loses appeal.

There's absolutely NO reason you should ACTIVELY hate on the young guy on a personal level. Make fun of his girly looks, sure. You can hate on his lack of talents/lyrics/attitude in videos. But leaving hate comments on Youtube for EVERY SINGLE MUSIC VIDEO EVER (that ruins my experience) and wishing he died?

Edit: To note, I don't "hate" Beiber. I just dislike him as an individual, and as an "artist", like anyone else in Hollywood. He isn't all that special, at least in my view of things.

I could make a long list of why I hate him but the big thing is how arrogant he is. When he was here in Australia and performing on Sunrise he lost his shit when someone simply touched him and he believes that he is this generations Kurt Cobain. There are few celebrities that I actually hate rather than dislike but he is one of them.

This is a big part of it for me.

EDIT: Just for clarification, I don't actually hate him. I find him annoying (note that that's mostly due to the kind of press he gets all the time, but I don't hate him. I just added the above video to explain my annoyance, mostly.

argh! Beiber if wasn't for the hate I would never have known who he was and would have been much happier. But anyway I'm part of the hate now and here's why;

1. He looks like he is 8
2. It looks like his mum still dresses him
3. I didn't know Alvin from the chipmunks had gone solo
4. I don't see what puts him above other child singers
5. Songs are bland and generic. Could be sung by anyone
6. His voice shows he not ready for a singing career yet. Come back in a few years when your balls have dropped and you've got some life experiences to sing about.

Let me get this straight. I'm not a fan of the kids music at all. It's boring, pandering rubbish. But the kid does have talent. I'd like to see some of the people calling him "talentless" go and sing like that. Is there better singers out there than him? Oh, absolutely and there probably are some on this forum. However I have my doubts about some of you people calling him talentless. The kid does have talent. Is it unprecedented talent that deserves the attention it gets? Absolutely not. But it is talent.
