I don't specifically fear death, but I do fear the fear of knowing I'll have less time in my natural life span left when I get older. I really fear getting old (as in 60+), and I really have no idea how I'll deal with it if it ever does get to that point. Death itself, I see more as just a closure to it all. There's no point in fearing what must happen one way or the other. It's just like any other natural thing in life.

I'm agnostic bordering on atheist.

I have no great plan of what will happen after my life ends.

I love my life sure it can be a struggle and some days are damn near unbearable, but I would do anything I could to I stay here with those I love.

I don't know whats on the other side, whether I either get reincarnated or go to heaven or purgatory, or just view a blackness for the rest of eternity. If I must die, I want something to do while Im dead (Other than burn in hell)

We appear to have been Trolled.
OT: I guess what I fear is what happens after that. Does it just go black and...Thats it, rest of eternity in blackness. Of course you wouldent know because your mind is dead.

I cannot fathom the thought of not existing. It's got more to do with the thought of, than the actual being. I can sit here and think about anything. Anything in the world. When I'm dead, I can't think about things I've done right, things I've done wrong, what I want to do tomorrow. It's just the fear of not existing in the sense I do now. It terrifies me... beyond belief.

I don't fear death one bit, something that happen's through life (unless you get involved with a mad scientist or something!?!?!?) The main problem for me, is not the fact i will die, it's the worry of when, more than anything.

I fear not existing anymore as I love life, but I see it as nessacary for a new generation of humans to arise. I also feel sorry for anyone who says they don't fear death as they have nothing to live for... anyone who says that DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE!!! Sorry to shout but otherwise its just such a waste.

I fear for those I care about and losing them, or how they would be affected if they lost me. I don't fear death exactly, but I know that I fear dying a long, unpleasant death (like drowning).

"But tell me, what is life? Is it not a hall in Death's anteroom?"

I don't fear death because to me there is only the here and now, why think of the inevitable, it's like dwelling on the past, a pointless exercise

I'm not particularly scared of death or dying. I know it's going to happen to me no matter what I do, so I'm going to just enjoy whatever time I'm given without worrying about it.
Then when I do die, at least I can go in the knowledge that I didn't waste any time or effort on worrying about the unchangable.
