Why do YOU hate racism?

I hate racism because there is no reason for it to exist, it's a wasted emotion to believe that any one race is superior over another. I do come from a multi-cultural city though, so maybe that's why I see it that way. The fact that all people living on the earth are 99.9% the same also makes me despise racists and the only difference appears to be the colour of your skin (not sure if that is the .1% so don't ask me.)

Well, in a couple of generations all hmans will be one skin colour anyways so why not make the most of our differences now?

Considering I will still be around in a couple of generations (unless of course I die prematurely) make me think otherwise. Also the fact that I know a lot of people who are married with kids that are not multi-racial families... so uh, you don't make any sense.

Actually, multiple skin colours will still occur... we'll just have more random variables in our genes in the future, is all.

Which is to say, once we've all got the genes of everything in us, our children will have random skin colours.

Umm, that could happen. But the thing is that would'nt happen all that often. The darker the skin colour the higher the genetic dominence of the skin colour. all your great great grand children will look like me! bwahahahahahahahahah*weeez*

We are? I mean the continents are drifting apart. Hence some places will have stronger sun disposal, and other less. Therefor there'll still be diffrent skin colors. Right?

Right. In millions of years after our bodies adapt to the amount of sunlight, and becomes a permanent part of your genetics. People in south america who live in the equator have only been ther for 20 000 years. In another million or so they should start lookin more african.

It's not something that can be stopped, we'll always think we're better than someone, it helps us make us feel better about ourselves.

Well lets see, I don't necessarily "hate" racism, but I do think it is stupid because it is pointless, it does nothing to better us as a species, it can lead to some real ugly consequences, it tears people down, it shows ignorance, and I could go on and on but I think that is a good summing up of the reasons why.

Point being that while I am careful to not offend anyone, I at the same time am not going to go out of my way such as changing my speech (i.e. overly politically correct) for those who are hypersensitive.
