ah, I seee. They dug up another part of the city centre about 5 years ago(?) and apparently the company that did it went bankrupt, I heard. So there's just a big gaping hole that was supposed to be another shopping centre. This year I'm moving to Leeds which is right next door. Leeds is lovely and near enough to my family to see them regularly, but not for them to pester me constantly.
