Well, I used to watch ZP because it was funny listening to a man with a foreign accent going apeshit over some game like he had a personal vendetta towards the dev team. But now, it just seems like he's going against the trend on purpose, whether he actually likes the game or not, just to gain more attention. Because of this, I no longer care for his opinions.

I watch it for 3 reasons:
1. Because I have finally found a reviewer that I share the same veiws with.
2. Because it is highly useful for a reviewer to point out all the bad things in a good game rather than find the game is good and hide the little bad things like they did something bad to the reviewer's children.
3. It's funny and I have never seen humor done so well in a review.

All in all I enjoy it and its one of the few things that gets be through the other half of the week.
it is pretty obvious why we watch him and i watch him for more or less the same reasons as you do so

I watch it because it's funny. I have yet to see a ZP episode where I have not laughed at least once.

I also like his views on games that I like/hate. It's cool to see someone who knows what they're talking about, unlike people who give it mindless praise (just about everyone who reviewed Spore BUT Yahtzee) and are very wrong.

I watch it because I appreciated that he's honest about the way he feels about a game. I may personally not agree with his views on the games plays(especially if i own them and like them) but I can respect that his opinion is just that his opinion. I've seen games that were reviewed that he was "Eh" on that I might not play anyways, but some that I have played that he reviewed I either agreed with or went "He's off his rocker!"

All in All I watch because of his honesty and that's what's important to me

1. It's Hilariously psychotic
2. Its nice to have a critic who cares about gameplay instead of graphics
3. His humor is often sopisticated, and when i pause the feature to read anything that is on the screen for less than a second, i realize that yahtzee is really a genius
4. It's Hilariously psychotic

He definitly has a unique take on things and thats helpful when trying to decide to spend 60 bucks on a game.

I just watch him because he rips apart pretty much every game he reviews; thats good cos most games are over hyped balls these days (case in point; halo 3. not an altogether bad game, actually quite good, but its hardly the second coming of christ, and hardly warrants perfect scores). Of course the bad point of his reviewing style is when he reviews a game you like. EG i disagreed with a lot of what he said about MGS4

its funny most of the time.

Other than that i guess it comes down to tradition. Even though some of his recent work isn't up to snuff i continue to watch because that is just what i do on Wednesday.

Oh, the wit of that charismatic stallion *makes pining eyes at Yahtzee*

Its purely for entertainment, whilst he is quick to point out some faults with a game, I wont singularly base whether or not I will buy it off of his reviews, that would be quite foolish.

I also think that Yahtzee is the only game reviewer who hasn't developed a case of the terminal illness 'Fanboysies'. I like how he notices all the little flaws which, to some people, are unimportant - he and I seem to share the same 'every single level in this game looks like a big turd' thought whenever a game overuses the colour brown.
He also talks fast, which I like. I hate it when people talk slowly and so the fact that he spits out his words like he can't stand them is great because it's not boring. Or slow.
I like the visual element as well, makes me laugh. That's as simple as it is, it's just really amusing to me.

All things considered though, he didn't change my opinion on Sonic Unleashed (because I am, quite shamelessly, a fangirl) and I'll still buy Fable II when it's gone a little cheaper regardless of the fact that he said it was crap.

I just find his reviews really funny, to be honest.
