I fucking love the game, actually.
And I don't even play it online.
EDIT: Awaiting Furbs comment so I can rage at him.
Well that's just, like, your opinion man.
OT: I don't hate it. It confused me as fuck, but I enjoyed the climax and the multiplayer was fun

We hate IW taking away our dedicated servers and a cheer when ever we see another news report about the IW reshuffle and just think.
"You guys got it wrong and now god bestows holy judgement!!!"
There's probably a lot of ire towards MW2 because it was a game that was geared towards, and genuinely better on, consoles (and being an online forum, a lot of people here are PC gamers, and many PC gamers felt somewhat scorned by MW2).Machines said:It's cool to hate it, along with Halo, Gears of War, religion and JRPG's. If you want to be loved even more then say you love TF2, Half Life and Portal.
While I am half joking it does seem that the above seems scarily accurate for a rather large amount of people on this site.
I am just a curios person, and given how many "I hate MW2" threads appear on this site, I just wanted to know why so many people seam to hate it here.Chech said:Really? Another one of these threads?
It's that accursed "free will" that people have. People shouldn't be allowed opinions.

It's just that some people have differing opinions and in the anonymous world of the internet, you can vocalise those opinions as loud as you want and get away with so people do. Just get over it. Do you REALLY care that much that people dislike it here or not?
I liked the game overall and although online can be frustrating at times, it's generally good fun.
That's funny because this line is used in every game that is popular on why the game sucks. I hope this proves a point about somethingNot G. Ivingname said:The amount of 12 year olds in every, single, game?
Then colour me uncool since I like Modern Warfare 2, enjoy Halo 3, have a lot of fun with a friend at Horde on Gears of War and enjoy JRPG's quite a bit. Even worse...I never saw Half-Life as anything special *blasphemy*Machines said:It's cool to hate it, along with Halo, Gears of War, religion and JRPG's. You can setup closed games with your friends, actually.Furburt said:Plus, the community I've encountered has to be one of the worst I've ever seen, and I can't change that like in other games, because guess what? No dedicated servers.
It's pretty good on replayability (three times completed) and it has coop that's a blast.Furburt said:The story mode is way too short for a game of this price.
Which is really not a bad thing - the first one had the same problems, no one seemed to mind.Furburt said:the story managed to be both bland and over dramatic
I played the PC version and I didn't notice.Furburt said:the publishers fucked over the PC
Critisism is alright and all but I kind of take offense at what you're saying.Foggy_Fishburne said:These guys seems to get it. Cheers for realising what a putrid piece of shit that game is.
