well seeing as he's run the country in to the ground and wastes billions of dollars a month ($11 billion to be precise) on a pointless war, yah he's done a horrible job. that and he lied about the middle east.

Clarify...
How IS the war pointless?

Well if you think slaughtering thousands, causing a huge state of panic, and almost totally DESTROYING the world economy, purely for oil isn't pointless. then i guess some people really are stupid.

I hate George W Bush because I think he knew about the attacks on the Twin Towers beforehand and did nothing to prevent them.

This is because there is a secret government which has a 25 year strategy for Geopolitics. Things don't make sense now, but in time, perhaps within our lifetimes, it will eventually come out that 9/11 needed to happen for the Patriot Act and the illegal Iraq invasion to be approved. If you doubt any of this just look at W.'s reaction to being told the news that the nation is under attack whilst at a school:

Obviously, no offence

But, I've always wondered why Americans say that. Assuming that men did go there for oil, isn't that good? He is securing a national interest so that the U.S. can maintain the position of a superpower. If anybody want their barrel price to double or triple, go head, argue that people are dying in a war over there.

Bush is not the Emperor of The Imperium, he did not DIRECTLY cause the economic depression. Infact, it's the extremity of capitalism that allowed people to take advantage of the system. Sure, bailout wasn't a sucess, but government intervention is necessary in an unsteady economy.

Finally, you can say that rednecks (or whatever the group you want to identify) really wanted a conservative republican, but the fact is, America voted for him for 2 terms. Either Bush is really amazing at making himself look good, or else democracy isn't just what it used to be.

Bottomline, I personally feel way too many Americans blame their shit on Bush.

Looking for responses.

The rest of the world don't so much hate Dubyah, we're mostly baffled that the US elected him for a further four years after the show that was put on the first time.
Speaking from the point of view of someone from U.K. I can say that we would hate Bush a lot more than we do if he wasn't such an absolute idiot who provides hours of hilarity.
Also you may wanna read this: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=limits_to_freedom

On a side note, I haven't found anyone out of everyone I know that doesn't hate Palin yet.

OK. I find it obscene you would defend the administration for mugging Iraq of its oil in the name of "national interest".
Secondly. Clinton was responsible for the longest economic boom in Americas history, yet the Bush administration managed to destroy it...they seriously throw money around as if it is worthless.
Thirdly. There are VERY REAL DOUBTS about the legitimacy of Bush's election...both times.

To be a good president you need a head.

This is why Clinton was a much better president.

Bush attracts hatred because he's a grinning meerkat incapable of opening a door, let alone running a country full of heavily-armed lunatics and with a stockpile of 27,000 nuclear weapons.

And he DID lie about the Weapons of Mass Destruction. Intelligence had already proved that Saddam didn't have any WMD in 2001 and that the man, whilst a military dictator of the most disgusting calibre, had no part in 9/11. But Bush was determined to shoehorn Iraq into the equation, so he embarked upon an unjust war in a country in a country full of crude and acts all surprised when people start banging on his front door saying it was a war for oil.

Ooh, look, look! Time for an old internet expression! Here it is!...

LOL!

You had my respect right up until... Wait, sorry, I was rereading one of my old posts, you lost my respect as soon as you claimed Bush knew about 9/11. Okay, so he is a monumental idiot and terrible public speaker, but he was evil and crafty enough to somehow predict public reactions, and manipulate them JUST so he could to tap phones, invade privacy (and that worked out SO well for him) and invade a militarily-weak country that he could have just invaded whenever he wanted (and again, that master plan also worked out SO well for him)? So he was evil and smart, but also stupid? LOL! (Sorry, I'm ashamed of myself for using it again, but I can't help it.) Seriously, there was no 9/11 conspiracy. Get over it.

I'll hear almost any valid argument against Bush, but ones that claim he's omnipotent and evil on a Hitler-like level are just too stupid for me.

Blind religious fundamentalism, rabid conservatism, inability to see other's views. The figurehead of anti-intellectualism and American imperialism.

Honestly, the U.S. of A is in the shitter, but the blame has to go up and down the pipe, because the people voted him in for two terms over the fear we'd have a president that used big words and didn't hate gay people. So, reap what you sow, and if we fall into another medieval ages iv'e got some barbed wire to put around my front door.

As for hating Bush specifically, I just want to see him go. He's just doing what the party and Cheney wants him to do. It's all the spying on Americans crap that gets to me, along with continuing to stretch our resources in ill manners across the world like Rome did in it's last days.

P.S. fun fact, when Dick Cheney decommissioned f-16 production circa 1994, my dad lost his job at Northrup Grumman. Surprisingly, the newly aquaried f-18 was a one-seater, which later had to be renovated into a two-seater, something the f-16 already was. Pops hasn't made as much money since then.

I don't understand why there is the sentiment that we invaded for oil when A. we where already getting oil from there. B. We get some from there still along with many other nations. We just let them contract with any company of their choice in the matter of drilling/pumping/pipeline.

Also he didn't destroy the economy. It was booming in the 90s due to the internet and technological revolution, tax cuts brought on by a republican house. But then the tech bubble burst in 2000 and started an economic downturn. Also 9/11 happened, so economic downturn isn't strictly his fault.

I've heard about his response to katrina. Well that is a state issue primarily, and mayor nagin completly f-ing up that situation. State emergencies are delt with primarily by the national guard not the federal government. The govnmt. just supplies relief funding.

All this is not to say he is a good leader, I personally don't like him because his liberal spending policies and increasing the size of government as much as he did. But people seem to have a tendancy to blame everything on george dubya bush which is ridiculous.

Are you blaming your fathers job loss on cheney?
The F-16 is an old fighter 70s era, production had to stop sometime. And the 18 was a better plane along with the new JSFs, the same will happen to the 15s which will be phased out for the 22s. and JSFs.

read about the 'dodgey dossier' which was just a mass of uncited sources the ones revealed the bulk of it from a magazine and a Phd thesis, and the 'sexy dossier' on the Weapon inspector reports. granted these were used by the British government but if they had this little evidence then why would he just except that maybe the WMD's had been destroyed? and here's the big lie tricking nations into believing that Saddam played a part in 9/11

also he is a republican, I'm British and we, all of Europe and the entire commonwealth seem to be a lot more liberal than most of you yanks. and we understand that any republican deserves all the hatred the world can muster.
