Why doesn't anyone ELSE say that?

Yeah...
It can be awkward.
Walking away from someone before returning a few minutes later, all "Hey, where was I going and what was I going to do there?"
That would be incredibly embarrassing, or getting distracted by something then someone comes along to remind you that you were supposed to be doing something.

Many old phrases, most of which have probably been mentioned in this thread.
Of course, anything sounds odd when you talk like BRIAN BLESSED.

I love saying "impudent" "churl" "puerile" "strumpet" "rabble" and "cannibalize." I learned most of those words from H.P Lovecraft and they stuck.

Me and my group of friends have far too many in-jokes than's healthy.
Example - instead of 'owned' or 'pwnd', we use 'jacked'.

Ne'er-do-wells has to be a personal favourite. That word really should be brought back.

and have even been told that I'm going to hell for telling someone not to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Please explain how someone would think this.

Also I recently learned the word "fop" so I've been trying to squeeze that in here and there. I use others that I can't remember right now, too.

I am the only one in my school who ever uses the word "Bloody." I'm not even british. Also, Zetta.

Well, this is a fun stereotype.
Two nerds who are bad at talking to other people?
Perish the thought!
It's a lot more fun than other stereotypes I'm stuck with.

I say 'Groovy'. Went out of fashion around 1970 but i've just latched onto it for some reason, and I think it sounds nice! haha

It's never something I use in a serious way but if I have nothing else to add to a conversation and i'm expressing interest in something i'll say 'Oh, groovy.'

I can't believe a few people here actually say 'dame' and 'broad' i've never heard those spoken outside of movies set in the 1930s. xD

I like using obscure words like 'erstwhile' and 'aegis' in random places whilst talking to my freinds. Also, I say whilst instead of while usually.

Like how all British people are incredibly sophisticated and drink only tea and wear top hats?
No, that's actually a fun one.
I was thinking more along the lines of ginger people have no soul... and are unloved.

What, you're ginger?

*hits with stick*

Get back in your hole!

Just kidding. Gingers are alright, for subhumans.
