Why don't we have a sequel yet?

Another vote for KoTOR - which will never be by BioWare so give it up already. BioWare has said repeatedly that they are not interested in working on anything other than original IPs from now on. Given my understanding of KoTOR 2's release FUBAR and figuring it wasn't an experience entirely exclusive to Obsidian, I interpret BioWare's statement as a polite way of saying, "We are now successful enough that we do not need to put up with another glue-lubed deep-dicking from George Lucas so we won't kthxbai."

That said, every once in a while, I do a little Google for "Jade Empire 2" and cry a little tear because it's still nothing but I've-got-a-buddy-in-the-biz rumors, which, quite frankly, Mr. Rumor-monger and his "buddy" can eat my ass for continually stirring up the BioWare boards with a bunch of bullshit. I want to play another wu xia movie. So sue me.

I want another Dreamfall, but I want them to lease the Jade engine from Beyond Good and Evil, because their own "action" engine sucked. Apparently the developers got a grant from the Norwegian Film Fund or some such? [http://www.funcom.com/wsp/funcom/frontend.cgi?func=publish.show&func_id=1191&table=CONTENT&item=1004] To carry on the Longest Journey/Dreamfall story.

And yeah, Beyond Good and Evil, because that's what all the cool kids are saying and I never watched an afterschool special about peer pressure.
You might be interested to hear that there is a LucasArts/Bioware collaboration in the works, announced last year (officially). It's believed by most to be KotOR III. I don't have the link right here, but BioWare has a projects menu on their page which lists "Next Gen Project", "LucasArts Collaboration" and "MMO". BioWare was hiring martial arts people last year for motion capture, thus some suspect "next-gen" is Jade Empire 2. BioWare did in fact say that they were focusing on original IPs 4 years ago during the Jade Empire development and release, but now that they've got Mass Effect released and Dragon Age has gone mostly stagnant, there's nothing stopping them from returning to KotOR.

I agree with the fellow who mentioned Lufia, it brings nothing new to the RPG genre, but does everything so great.

I also want to see a new, proper, Starfox game. I haven't tried command yet, anyone know if it's any good?

I digress, though. Above all else I want to see a Shadow of the Colossus 2. I'm STILL having fun playing the original, despite beating it six times, but a new set of Colossi would be incredibly awesome. Perhaps with more exploration elements similar to the collectibles in the first.

Make a GOOD Front Mission sequel:
-NOT on phones (Front MIssion 2089)
-NOT in 3d (FM 3, 4, and 5)
-and have a NEW Storyline (the DS one was AWESOME, but treading familiar ground)
HEY! I liked Front Missions 3 and 4. But asking game companies not to do 3d in this day and age is like asking politicians not to tax.

I did check the BioWare page the last time I heard KOTOR rumors and saw the next-gen and MMO listings, but didn't see anything about LucasArts. Apparently I kin rede reel gud, because there it is, right there on the page, though admittedly, I was there for JE II updates, so I was just skimming everything else.

If it is true that there is another KoTOR coming, I do hope BioWare picks up on Obsidian's Influence feature - I really enjoyed that aspect of the game and thought it made a lot of sense for both the story and the role-playing element. Actually, I'd like to see that implemented on Jade Empire as well. And I would also like a pony.

Earthbound has already been stated but is plain douchebaggery to not release it massively for being afraid of low sales, how do they know if it is going to sell bad if they don't even let it leave home.

Oh, I heard something depressing. Apparently, Beyond Good and Evil was intended to be a trilody, but it was canned due to poor sales. Argh.
