What ho! Someone doesn't like DA 2 you say? Rediculous! Fetch my helmet, muster the Rohirrim!

man Baulders gate 2 and Throne of Bhaal were kick ass. I don't know how you could be bored with those. I do admit that BG1 started off rather slow though.verdant monkai said:You do know that Bioware protagonists only started having voices when Mass Effect came out in 2007?
I thought (my opinion, no one kick off now) Bioware made boring games until mass effect graced our consoles in 2007
Maybe the central point is that Bioware used to make "boring" games for those of us that liked those sorts of games, and now they make "exciting" games for those of you that like those sort of games - just like every other game company.verdant monkai said:I thought (my opinion, no one kick off now) Bioware made boring games until mass effect graced our consoles in 2007
They were going to give us Nathaniel but took him away at the last moment? I am genuinely saddened by this :'(80Maxwell08 said:The guy from the exiled prince DLC was supposed to be nathanial from awakening until they realized he (or anders don't really remember which) could die and they would have had to add changes to the game if that happened to you.
I confess, I didn't thoroughly read the post. I saw "Dragon Age 2 failed," was overwhelmed by thoughts of "Oh, it's THIS thread again..." and then replied accordingly.endtherapture said:I wouldn't say it's beating dead horses, my post is about the atmosphere of DA2 which I felt had failed, however most threads complain about other things. It was essentially opening a new line of discussion, not beating on the same old dead ones.remnant_phoenix said:I understand that the OP may just be late to the party and he has every right to share his opinions, but when the "party" involves flame-baiting and beating dead horses, maybe it's best to keep those opinions to yourself.
Well at least they didn't have the chance to ruin him.Necroid_Neko said:They were going to give us Nathaniel but took him away at the last moment? Neverwinter Nights Original Campaign was a horrible disjointed generic badly written piece of rubbish, so full of pot holes I could have drained my vegetables in it. Not getting along with it is not only perfectly valid but sensible.Steampunk Viking said:SNIP
and if it weren't made by bioware. Even then it would still be mediocre.Somonah said:I actually really enjoyed it. But i can see why a lot of people hated it. Same dungeons over and over again, waves of enemies completely destroying any planning or stratergy from the combat. I think it's biggest failing though was how different it was to Origins. 99% of people wanted more Origins and what they got was a streamlined hack and slash for the console crowd.
So in trying to pander to the console crowd, they lost what everyone actually wanted (including the console crowd) more Origins.
For me it was another case of 'if it wasn't called dragon age, it would of been alot better'
