very small example of Beck's poison, anyone who saw this and believes it's an isolated incident is not following the news enough. Read up on the recent attempt at Soros (much clearer connection to Beck).AcacianLeaves said:True enough, except for when the fear and hate that he and his network spew incite people to violence.Sleekgiant said:ITTeople spending time whining about someone they are not forced to watch.
Here is a suggestion, stop worrying about it.
So while we don't have to watch him or Fox News, we have to live in the world they're trying to create.
Also: in before political thread should go in political forum
the parody before that was way better, but holy shit he's a fucking gold mine of material.movienut said:John Stewart did a great parody of him yesterday.
I've been living under a rock these past few months to avoid all the "political attack ads".gamerguy473 said:He isn't. He just got suspended without pay by MSNBC for making private donations to democratic candidates for the election.Onyx Oblivion said:Why is Keith Olbermann still on air?
It was a weekend suspension he is on the air. That wasn't the reason he got suspended.gamerguy473 said:He isn't. He just got suspended without pay by MSNBC for making private donations to democratic candidates for the election.Onyx Oblivion said:Why is Keith Olbermann still on air?
He has legitimate proof that at 10 years old George Soros already was a economic force crushing workers and markets; and at 14 he was working with the Nazi's (even though his family was busy fleeing Germany?)gamerguy473 said:I don't think he's nearly as crazy as other people make him look. If you actually watch his entire show, he makes arguments but he actually backs them up with legitimate proof. Not like the sound bytes you hear of him mid-sentence saying something so out of context its ridiculous.
yep Liberal bias...cimil said:Oh God! A crazy republican?!!? The only way to solve this is to call in all those fucking crack-pot liberals...
He's still on the air becuase he provides several valid points, is entertaining (well, until he gets a little too into his "the world will end tomorrow!!!" stuff), and people like to listen to him.
I'm not a huge fan by any means (more of a Medved/Limbaugh guy), but he has a right to say what he wants. And, frankly, in this time when 95% of the news/media is biased towards the liberal side, it seems pathetic to whine about one of the republicans out there.

In 2003 over 70% of Americans believed in a link between Iraq and 9/11
4/10 Americans still think Hussein caused 9/11
This is a liberal bias???
Recently the Health care bill was criticized for "Death Panels" the section this referred to was removed from the bill.
This is a liberal bias???
Please Ask for more examples I've got a good list by this point those are just the 2 easiest to relate to.
It like Colbert says "Reality has a liberal bias" and conservatives love to be the victims when the facts don't back them up.
