well i stopped loving valve along with most of my friends after the whole l4d debockle

I love VaLVE but the way they treat consoles is kinda annoying like I'm still waiting for the tf2 updates to come for the 360(if ever). But to me valve to me will always be about 2 badasses who left microsoft to start they're own business out of scratch.

Yeah just last night me and my friends finished the campaign and wanted to try the other modes...and waited and waited for some people to join... so we ended up just playing 2 on 2 after about 15 mins of waiting

christmas is the main reason alot of people that play left for dead r in high school so their parents will be giving it to them in 18 days also if ur looking in verus no one really plays that mainly people are playing the other game

well hello all figured this would be a good spot to tell every one this story:
i dl l4d just as soon as skullptura put it out there. You see i have other stuff to buy like food that is just more important than some damn game. i was willing to make an exception after the first ten mins of playing. right so this is all over at my cousins house and he really likes the game and we are allways on the look out for a good co-op but the only good co-op games are nija turtles 2 arcade the ness version and the warriors. well so we figure it like this we will split a copy and figure out how to connect the cracked version. even with crappy cracked servers the game is outstanding. remember folks the game has only been out a year or so and now 2 is out. well as you can imagine as soon as i left he played for 50 hrs strait got hooked. no he joined a damn clan and everything else calls me up about two weeks after intial infection and says don't worry about paying me the rest of your half cuz u don't have the net and i'm really into it. so now here it is a year later and i've got the net now and its a confirmed that my mom is buying me a legit copy for christmas and finialy i can play l4d with my cuz and be happy right? no his "clan" (remember were flesh and blood cousins and have actually met in real life) decides that they want to play l4d2 and just forget the first game. my cousin told me he would not be playing l4d anymore in fact he uninstalled it the very night i told him i'd be getting the first in less than ten days. he reckons i should ask my mom for the recipt and trade it for number 2 because everyone and there brother will be playing it. seriously he says the only people that will be playing it now are noobs and people who join a game shoot everyone light them all on fire and then jump off a cliff.

i for one will be playing left 4 dead december 25th and when number 2 goes down to 30 bucks i'll buy it too but it damn sure aint worth 50. they could have easily added everything in the new game to the first with the exception of the new modes and now i want you to imagine a left 4 dead without francis, bill or zoey i mean what the hell happened to them huh? where are the extra lvls and updates for the first one. now think about how crowded l4d2 is gonna be are you gonna drop 50 and alianate your friends for a chainsaw and a bottle of boomer vile (useless give me a pipe bomb or leave the slot empty) and the melee wepons ok you give up ur side arm for a base ball bat and when u ran up and smack a tank with it or a horde of zombies...well sorry you stepped in front of all those bullets. and come on you really think that just because u have a katana you can cut off a zombies head with every swing even two or three? point is its the first game with too many hillbilly zombies. and one last point how in the hell did someone whereing a hasmat suit get bit by a zombie? btw the way i know this post is huge and not many will bother with it and obviously i have terriable grammer and spelling but i kick some zombie ass and as my bro left me fer dead: crowyvern@yahoo.com and on dec 25th lets kill some zombies together and spread peace and joy

Then I played the original Left 4 Dead after and I found a game almost instantly, So what's happening!?!? Do people just not like the sequel or what?

No-one plays the console version. No lack of players on PC though

Its an amazing one trick dog, im afraid. It is a hell of a time first, then leaves you sore that it had to end. Hopefully DLC will keep it going.

That and the animosity over the fact that L4D was basically denied it's major DLC update in lieu of this release.

EDIT: That and you're playing a Ported game. Ported games usually suffer or in most cases don't survive their port. Not that the port makes it bad, its just that most games just don't scale/perform as well on Console as their PC predecessors do.
