I played tons and never had an issue on the 360. I was kicked from 1 game and that was the only time I had ever been dropped from a match. I never had a single problem finding one (except when they stick me in the body of a near dead survivor). Nothing beats spawning into a hunter attack.sirdanrhodes said:

I am getting L4D2 for xmas and am hoping that a bunch of people are as well. I was thinking about buying it off of steam but my girlfriend found it on black friday for 30 bucks at gamestop so ill just be waiting till xmas to get it. So im guessing there should be a spike of people playing it after xmas.
It got DA:O and L4D2, rented tekken 6 and borderlands..... EVERYBODY on my friends list OWNS MW2 and is currently playing it... so I got a copy and have not played L4D2 since I got the med kit. Not that i'm playing MW2 or anything, I got like 13 hours on it, but I'm playing dragon age. Which everyone is asking me if they should get it vs. ass creed 2. I say dragon age is good (i'm on my 5th play though, first time not as an elf, with 25 hours for each) but ass creed 2 looks very good. Also I heard this thread that the trailer suck because DA is not an action game... If your on easy or normal using a sword, its an action game.
I know I'll be getting it.

Mako SOLDIER, that's the point, on 360 you'll have to pay for the DLC, on pc you won't, I don't have any issues on the PC, sorry orrigional poster, think the L4D players went to the PC :\
Meh, I have it, I play it occasionally, my problem is that I played a little bit of competitive L4D1 and now can't stand playing with the average public team with no voice chat and a loose grasp on how to play the game, probably doesn't help that I've completed probably the most challenging aspect of the game (Swamp Fever on Expert with Realism Mode on).
However in answer to your question it could be the boycott, or perhaps most of the L4D2 community is made up of the hardcore competitive types, and the rest is made up of people only playing with their friends, which you can't really blame them for considering how long the average campaign takes.

Because whilst L4D2 has added more to the core of L4D and has made the vs mode (the one I player most) a much tighter game they have not introduced any way to resolve the high number of asshats that play the game, rage quitters, suicide quitters, lobby leaders that bugger off, people who join then do nothing and idiots who play MW2 and then think they can play L4D2 using the same principles of zero team work just run and shoot everything.
Well, my cousin brought Left 4 Dead 2 over while I was still on the fence about getting it or not, and while I was playing it I realised it was the same exact game that, while amazing at first, simpley got old after the first 3 weeks or so. So, I suppose it just felt to much like a clone with a new cast of characters for me to pick it up. I instead dumped my money into pre-ordering Mass Effect 2.
