Why is nobody playing Left 4 Dead 2?

i got it for pc but dont like it too much, i had l4d1 on 360 and played that 3x more especially with friends so dk, maybe becuz of its similarities and christmas time coming up soon

There's a glitch with the server listings. It's happening on the PC version as well, though not as often as it used to. Plus, the 360 version is really really bad in my opinion but that's just me...

Because it's a crap game? Because xbox live is crap? Because there's something wrong with your connection? Problem with the game code? It could be a combination of any of those things.

I don't seem to have that problem. I don't know if there is a diffrence between us, but something may be wrong with your connection or prefrences.

MW2 and halo3. Combined at any given time are taking up almost a million people at peak hours. (600+k were on MW2 a few hours ago) So with a suscriber base of 20 mil, prolly half of those play every day, and of those have prolly a quarter are online at any given time. So out of a "max" 2.5 million almost a half of those are in matchmaking for mw2 and halo 3, not to mention those that are in different games campaigns, other popular online games and such. Plus L4d2 got boring quick. Its already in the 39.99 dept at most stores. It might just be like Unreal 3 was, just a few open games and a dead player base.

Actually, Valve fixed the debacle right then and there, making the petitioners look a tad... out of it.

Exactly what debacle, at least one where Valve didn't turn out to be right all along? I think it's safe you say that you and your friends are in an extreme minority.

well to me L4d still feels unfinished and from what I have played of L4D 2 there doesn;t seem to be much difference between the two games. I could be wrongm I havn;t played through the whole game but I have played through parts of it.

I was never in the boycott. I figured valve was going to do what ever it was going to do and 40,000 of a couple million didn't really matter.

You're playing it on a console. Everyone would rather play an unbalanced shooter full of kids. Play it on PC.

You can only shoot and beat down so many hordes of zombies before it all becomes the same- mow down with rapid fire from as far away as possible, run away as you reload. =/

So many good games coming out at the same time. Left 4 Dead 2 is a little pale compared to AC 2 And MW 2, getting LfD 2 for Christmas though.

Sort of the same with Borderlands, on the PC. I rarely find more than 5 'servers'. I feel for you, you buy a game and you cant really enjoy it. Non-MMORPG online gaming really sucks.

If you play Left 4 Dead 2 on PC it usually pretty easy to get a game, I've never had a probably, I haven't been playing since I beat all the Campaigns but I probably will again soon.
