Why isn't anyone excited about Kane And Lynch 2?

The demo came out recently and plays really well, the little you got to play of the single player seems really great, and the multiplayer has a really unique potential as well. I really love the art direction and the unique camera effects they use, and can't wait for the game right now.

Still, noone is talking about this anywhere on like any game sites, gametrailers released a preview saying it looks really promising, but that's basically it!

I know the first one was a letdown, but this one looks really good, so if you havent checked it out yet, you should!

Are anyone else at least remotely excited about this game that comes out in less than two weeks, and do you plan to buy it?

Because when the first game in the series is a complete disappointment, people don't hold much hope for the sequel. Especially when the developers thing having a stupid camera style is a good gimmick.

Because I have the PC game, and haven't been able to make it work at all.

There are a bunch of different ways to attempt to get the game to run, but so far I've had no luck with any of them. The game is bugged up the bum, and there was never a patch released to fix the problem.

Is it a gimmick though? to me it's more a means to an end. The distortion thing is slightly "so-so", but the shaky camera does a lot for me, since I think the static behind the player third person camera has always been a drawback in making a game feel immersively cinematic.

Good for you, I agree, but I can't help but think it's a shame that people condemn it because of the first one. Especially when, if I recall correctly, I can't seem to think of any other games than this one that io has released that was in any sense bad.

Have they made anything else than Hitman and this one? Oh, yes, mini ninjas, that one rocked as well.

Sorry, that 16 year old who decided to poorly try and insult me.

Anyways, to elaborate I haven't actually played the first one. I tried the demo for KL2 and liked it. It's a fresh breath amongst all the crappy, samey shooters we see these days, and I'm a bit cynical after how much RDR sucked, so I'm looking forward to it simply because it actually seems to have some innovation.

Well for me, i didn't like the first ones demo so the new one isn't at the top of my list of wanted games.
