I'm not exactly loaded, and my PC is fairly shitty, so I haven't bought shattered horizon yet, and maybe never will.
BUT
seriously, why is this game so under the radar? from what I can tell from trailers and the like, this is possibly the most significant multiplayer game in the last few years at least, and infinitely more deserving of attention then unoriginal games like MW2, etcetera. The only reason (and its a pretty significant one) I can think of for this level of attention is that it is a PC exclusive. for those of you that have a good rig and some spare cash, it looks pretty fucking sweet, you shoulc youtube it or sumthin.

EDIT ok time to be less half assed about this. As far as I know, Shattered Horizon is a multiplayer FPS on the steam platform, that takes place in zero gravity, that is set on the shattered remains of the moon after a massive explosion caused by a mining accident. therefore, players are meant to have comlete freedom of movement, which if any of you are fans of more competetive online Shooters such as quake or (to go really oldschool) tribes, can point to interesting tournaments where players try to find exploits (such as strafe jumping for the former and skiing for the latter) to give them an edge. Being very into the current online quake scene, im excited by the prospects this raises, as its been a while since there was a new kid on the block for serious competitive FPS. although as far as i can tell it is a team based tactical shooter, which isn't really associated with competitive play outside of CS.

Um...because it's had no advertising or marketing AT ALL.

Edit: Call of Duty. In space. Awesome.

Obviously lack of promotion is what does it. But I think the real reason is it's a Steam exclusive and one cannot buy it in stores, and if they are like me they hate DRMs.

Because "jizz" and "jizzing" need to be burned from existance.

Also, embedding vids or acutally giving us info on the game would help get the word across, instead of just saying "youtube it or something".
yeah I would but...
nah.
seriously though. looks good. no-ones heard of it.I think its even out already, and I was all "what?"
Edit:actually, might get on it. no need to be so half assed
